"We have had the fortune to have an extended off-season stay in Florence and chose Paola's apartment for our "home away from home". She was easy to correspond with and welcoming when we arrived.
Florence is such an historic, art-filled city and this apartment is such a comfortable place to stay. The unit is central to all things in the city and has a wonderful panoramic view that includes Fiesole, the Duomo and the roof tops of Florence. There are many small local shops with owners who take pride in their product in the streets nearby.
The apartment is very spacious, clean and well maintained. The large living and dining rooms are filled with light from the two sets of French doors. There is plenty of comfortable seating for reading and socializing. The balcony is large and we enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches here. The kitchen is compact but well furnished and has everything required to cook wonderful meals. The bathroom is large, well separated from the sleeping areas and contains the washing machine. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is quiet and has plenty of storage space.
If we decide to return to Florence we would definitely choose to stay here again."

"All the pictures and descriptions on the listing are accurate, except the furniture on the deck has been updated. The apartment was spacious, bright and clean. The fantastic views from every window trumped the sounds of the church bells from all directions. The elevator was a huge plus. The terrace was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We even cooked dinner one night. The best part of it was the location. It was convenient to everything.
Linda was very easy to deal with. Each time I sent her an email with questions, she responded within a few hours. We made arrangements for Linda's son Marco to pick us up at the airport. He was waiting when we arrived, drove us straight to the apartment and showed us everything we needed for the stay. We also arranged for Marco to drive us to Carrara and Pisa for a day trip. We could not have seen and done as much as we did without him. He even surprised us with a couple of vista point stops to show us the breathtaking views on the region.
Everything worked out great. Thanks Linda and Marco!!! I would highly recommend this apartment to everyone."

"Our trip to Florence for 9 days at the end of November couldn't have been more perfect, in large part due to the wonderful apartment we stayed in. Torella was an ideal location, a minute from the Ponte Vecchio, around the corner from the Pitti Palace and across the Arno from the Uffizi. The apartment itself was comfortable and cozy, with breathtaking views from the bedroom at all hours. One of the unexpected bonuses was that it was extremely quiet; no sound from other apartments, neighbors or even the street. We enjoyed the terrace and found the living room very relaxing. Both our greeter and the doorman were extremely helpful, which was especially important considering our luggage was lost on the trip there. They were instrumental in our obtaining it without further problems. We loved being close to the main attractions, but also the quiet small streets and piazzas in this region, and especially the artisans of the Santo Spirito neighborhood. Restaurants within walking distance were all superb, and we found the recommendations in the apartment very helpful. We also made daily trips to the grocery store down the street, perfect for supplies for breakfast or snacks. We were able to do what we had hoped this vacation could do: relax and live as the locals might, walking everywhere, enjoying the beauty and vibrancy of this beautiful Italian city. We can't wait to return."

"This apartment is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Florence and the stunning view of the Duomo from the living room window mesmerizes you. We were greeted by Sandra's friend, Stefania, who explained everything and even left us a bottle of wine and water, which we appreciated very much. The apartment is as it appears in the pictures and has great security. The marble floors and Florence decorated wood ceilings are more beautiful in person. The bedrooms are interconnecting but this wasn't a problem for us. We used the washing machine without any problems and the wifi was easy to connect to and use. There was a grocery store not far from the apartment and we stopped there several times on our way back from touring the city. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment."
