"Wonderful setting, 12 Km to a well served train station, 120m walking to a well known winery, with on site sales. You can stop for dinner in the Montegufoni Castle if you want and there's grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance in Baccaino and Montagnana. The owner and family are the best and the Villa had everything we needed, ... just open all the doors and let the scented Tuscan air put you to sleep. If its too hot take a dip in the pool, we never used the air conditioning. This is a gem of a place with excellent value so very close to Firenze, Pisa and Siena by car or train or bus."

"We have visited Florence many times before, usually staying in Fiesole..this time decided that we wanted to be walking distance from everything, but not in the middle of the tourist center. Olivia was perfect.. we have always loved the Oltarno.. but it is even better when it is your home base. Good restaurants, an amazing market, quiet, yet close to the center. We were there during the horrible heat wave, and the apartment air conditioning worked wonderfully well. The kitchen was well stocked with basics.. and the host provided a basket with some goodies.. bread, coffee, pasta and a nice bottle of wine.. I think guests leave behind things they purchase but don't use, .. I know that we did.. so no need to buy salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc. There is a produce market at the square around the corner in the mornings.. and a good bar to get your morning cappuccino after shopping! several good restaurants very close by.. and the new SIGNORVINO wine shop and restaurant is just a short walk past the bridge.. great concept.. good wine, and good food at great prices. The apartment is on the top floor.. quite a climb, but very comfortable, nicely furnished, and quiet."
