"What a great experience! I stayed with a friend of mine in Camerata and had the time of my life. The studio is located close to Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vechio, the Duomo and a 15 min walk to Santa Maria de la Novella which is the main train station. It is also located a street next to Via Ghibellina that has fantastic and cheap restaurants.Upon arrival at the train station we followed the map that was provided for us with the exact walking directions to the studio. We met Vanni and in a matter of minutes we were able to drop off our bags and head to explore Florence.
It was an experience to have a "home away from home" I will highly recommend this studio to anyone who wants to experience the true meaning of living in Florence.
Thank you Vimarie and Vanni for making this stay so fabulous!!"

"This home had the most amazing views! The house itself is a renovated family home and we loved being there. We may have been the first guests of the new season because the pool and jacuzzi were just being opened for the year. Claudio the host is charming, his wife operates a Florence tour company, and his son is a chef. Together this makes for an amazing vacation. The drive from the highway (autostrada) to the house was glorious. We stopped and took about 40 photos on the way. The train directly into Florence was 10 minutes from the house and right next to a large grocery store that was super fun to shop at. Philip, the son of the owner and a chef, spent an evening teaching us to make pasta from scratch, carbonara, and berry compote. The children loved every minute of it! He was an amazing teacher. The views from the home were stunning, the property was photo worthy, the olive oil they produce was amazing. Minutes away from the house (walking) is a tasting for Tuscan wine and olive oils! We would love to return to help with the olive harvest! We can not rave enough about the cooking class with Philip.
If you are planning a romantic escape, this is the place. Make arrangements for a private dinner on the terrace with your own private chef. Surprise your special someone with a lazy swim or jacuzzi soak looking out over Florence (you can see the dome).
If you are planning a family get away, this is the place. Take in the sights of Florence over 3 days and let the kids swim away the evenings.
Practical notes: Parking was excellent. The kitchen had a freezer for ice packs! The home does not have a dryer, but our clothes smelled like the Tuscan sun and dried within hours. The only difficulty was with the wifi. We had all our reservations online and had to have Philip help us to access them before heading into the city.
We would return!"
