  • Perfect apartment!

"We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The pictures really do it no justice. Everything was perfect from the decor to the view onto the piazza, the location, the well stocked kitchen, etc... Bruno was so welcoming and provided us with great information on the town and restaurants. I would recommend this apartment to anyone! Grazie Bruno and Ilaria!"

  • wonderful property! excellent host! Loved Lucca!

"We loved our stay in Lucca - and this wonderful apartment made us feel at home. The unit was clean and very well appointed - easy to prepare meals and be comfortable. The location is excellent with great shopping, dining and interesting historical points all within walking distance. Our manager host, Eva, was absolutely wonderful - very helpful in getting us around the great city of Lucca and suggesting the best spots for dining and must-see points. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Beautiful House in a Tranquil Yet Convenient Location

"Our family of four just returned from a fantastic two weeks at this beautiful villa! This was our first trip to Italy and we could not have wished for a more perfect place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Gabriela, Adolfo and their charming and helpful daughter Valentina. They greeted us with a delicious cake and nice bottle of wine from a local vineyard. Gabriella and Valentina gave us a tour of the house and property, making sure that we had everything that we needed. Adolfo gave us helpful information on where to find good local restaurants and food stores. It was very nice to meet such a kind and friendly family. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!!! The Villa itself was even more beautiful than the photos... thanks to the sounds of church bells, chirping birds and the smell of lavender and rosemary. The views from inside and outside the house are truly breathtaking! We felt like we were in a movie! The interior of the villa is cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable with fresh quality linens. The bathrooms and kitchen were perfect. The swimming pool was great after a long day of sight seeing! The local shop and vineyard owners were very kind and had everything that we needed. (Maria, who owns the local vineyard produces delicious wine & olive oil) Some of our favorite evenings were spent sitting on the patio, admiring the olive trees, over a glass of wine, cheese, bread and olive oil. The private location is conveniently located close to Lucca, Viareggio beaches, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Voltera, & Florence. If you are ambitious you can even take a day trip to Rome via speed train from Florence. Thank you also to Mrs. Sonia who made booking this house very pleasant and easy. We hope that we will be able to visit again in the near future!!!"

  • I couldn't recommend it enough!

"We stayed at the property in late September 2014. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The Villa was beautifully done. Bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen large, the living spaces spacious and more than enough for everyone. The house was immaculate. The grounds were beautiful, the garden was romantic and elegant with many lemon trees and the gazebo on the top of the fortress surrounding the property with a breathtaking view. The pool was a welcome relief in the afternoon and well used by our children. We were also blessed with a lovely owner available for our request and always met with a big smile. Sonia, the host, was outstanding. She was like a personal concierge. She helped arrange anything we needed during our excursions thru Tuscany. Advice on best places to see, best spots to park, best restaurants to visit. This is my 8th visit to Italy, but I saw it through new eyes. This note is just to say how much we loved our stay in Villa Loppy. This Villa was the PERFECT way to appreciate Tuscany: it's location, the views, and especially the hospitality, It is a magical place! We loved every moment. A million thanks."
