history and romance
"Driving up the "hill" to Villa Pallina you begin to realize that you are entering a slice of Tuscan reality. As you see the farmers tending their gardens or olive trees, the grape vines growing along the hill sides, and the local dogs lounging in the road you know that you are driving to some place special. Our group was immediately in love with the Villa and feel even deeper after hearing of its rich history and the love and romance that it holds within it walls. The views are breath taking and be sure to make the climb behind the Villa to the back side of the hill to be even more pleasantly surprised. The Villa is conveniently located to to many of the must see sites of Italy so get ready for an adventure of a life time. I have rented from Mrs Sonia for several times and I am already in love with her rentals."

"We had a wonderful time at Bruno and Iliria's apartment overlooking the Anfiteatro.
The apartment is very comfortable with all of the amenities that we could have hoped for. The small touches were the ones most appreciated; coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar and especially the umbrellas!
This was the 4th stop on our Italian holiday – and although the other apartments were also very good, none provided those “little extras”. It’s the little things that count the most when you're far away from home.
We found Lucca ideal for our day trips to Pisa and the Cinque Terre, and the city itself is captivating in many ways. We could easily have stayed within 100 meters of the walls of the Anfiteatro, everything we needed was close by.
Wonderful restaurants (especially L’Angolo Tondo) fantastic gelato, good shopping, all within a few minutes’ walk. We couldn’t have asked for better.
Sitting on the window sill as the sun sets and the lights around the Anfiteatro come to life one by one, with a glass of prosecco in hand is the best way to end a day – we will remember our time in Lucca with great affection."
