  • The best view in Tuscany!

"My dream did come true of staying in a villa with the most beautiful view, peaceful, close to two small towns (not many tourist) and close to trains to take us to Siena, Florence and Rome. The villa is clean and very well kept! Patrizia, had a wonderful tart and wine waiting for us, which we enjoyed every morning! We requested dinner for the first night, prepared by Linda was just perfect. Of course we ate on the covered patio-did I mention how amazing the view was? Linda was very helpful with pre-trip questions and suggestions of cities and restaurants to visit. We loved the Cetona, just a short drive from the Villa, where we visited a wine/cheese shop where the owner gave a a tasting! (There are also some really good restaurants) One week was not enough to enjoy the villa and everything else there is to see! Thanks Linda and Patrizia for making this a trip of a life time for me, my sister and friend."

  • We recommend this type of Accommodations over any 4 Star Hotel!!

"We could not have been any more pleased (is thrilled to strong) with our amazing apartment in the heart of Santa Croce Florence! It was beautiful. Also comfortable and welcoming. The surroundings were lovely and we felt a part of the neighborhood. Quiet and safe. Our greeter could not have done more for us! Walked us to the grocery store and pointed out sites to visit. We were steps from the Santa Croce Piazza and the Arno River where we found excellent restaurants. Make a dinner reservation at Ristorante del Fagioli! The wait staff will guide you through a meal of wonderful steak, bread soups and pasta. Cappuccino and Gelato - say no more. Shopping - we were steps from small shops with fair prices on leather goods and other souvenirs. Visited the Italian Leather School (prices are very high but the quality is outstanding.) which is behind the Santa Croce Church. The school is free but is also part of the church tour. We were only a few blocks to the Uffizi Gallery and Accademia. The tour books are right; make reservations! Walk or take a city bus to any of the most congested areas of Florence then return home to peace and quiet! Take a city bus to Fiesole in the hills overlooking Florence. It's quite a hike up to the church but the view is spectacular. Also on the city bus line is a stop across the river on Viale Michelangelo for more great views of the city. We made a day trip by train to Pisa, visited the coastal town of Viaggio and then a final stop in Lucca and after a long day back to peace and quiet. What a wonderful experience and Italy Perfect is just that - Perfect. They gave us excellent guidance and provided valuable information before our trip on the "do's" and "don'ts". Follow their advise and you'll have an exceptional experience. We will definitely recommend Italy Perfect and use them again. Ciao e viaggi sicuri!"

  • Week of Florence

"My wife and I used Florence as our home base for a 12 day trip. Mary was outstanding in helping us get situated and was easily accessible for any questions. The apartment was perfect for us. Plenty of room. Far enough from train station, but close enough for us to walk and get access to Venice/Chianti (bus)/Cinque Terra/Rome..If you want to rent cars they are available on this street."

  • La Terraza In September

"In September, my wife and I stayed for almost two weeks at La Tarazza, Cetona. Although our flight was late arriving into Roma Fiumicino Airport, the Property Manager, was still waiting for us when we arrived and took care of getting our luggage up to the house. When we took our coffee up to the garden next morning to take in the views, we knew we had made a good choice of place to stay. Cetona was clean, quiet and had all the local amenities, including two great restaurants (Nilo’s and Osteria Merio). Our home-away-from-home was very clean and had all the amenities (with exception of microwave, which taught you to do things the “old way” again). While English was not spoken by too many, everyone was willing to converse with you and try to help, which is half the fun for us. The Saturday morning market was a great place to pick up your fruits and vegetables, but don’t touch the fruit, they will select for you, depending on whether you want to eat it that day or in a few days! There are several day hikes from the town and maps are available from the town Tourist Office. If you want to rent bikes, there is a shop in Chuisi (15mins drive) called “Bruscino Noleggio Biciclette Chuisi”. Mountain bikes cost 12Eu/day, but not much selection. A couple of great rides right out of town. “Sentiero Della Bonifica” runs through beautiful countryside up to Arezzo (~40miles one way). Location is perfectly situated between Rome and Florence, with the A1 Autostrada running north/south only 10mins away. This is a toll road, so don’t lose your ticket or you’ll be paying the full 50Eu! There are so many beautiful towns and villages to explore in and around Tuscany and wine country. This time of year, the sunflowers start to die and are being harvested with many fields ploughed over. The contrast of soil colours in just 100 yards, was amazing to see and makes for great photographic opportunities. June/July are the months to see them in full bloom across the rolling hills. Montepulciano, Montalcino, Montefalco wine areas are 40-50 mins. Away. Avignonesi, near Cortona, is one of the better vineyards and does a great tour. You need to book ahead. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and the Property Manager was like a tour guide to us, helping is make arrangements for renting bikes over the phone, since our Italian was limited."
