"Our family of four, including two younger adults, enjoyed our stay at La Capanna. Beautiful location and vistas. Peaceful, very quiet, overlooking vineyards and olive groves. Perfect for those who want to get away from it all, with limited wi-fi! The house itself was spacious, clean, and a wonderful place to cook family meals, with high quality amenities. Centrally located, day trips are recommended. Agritourismo property contains a working winery, producing renowned Castell' in Villa Chianti. Our hostess Coralia was cordial and helpful. Tuscan scenery was amazing.
A truly unique and beautiful place for those who want peace and quiet and a base from which to visit Tuscany."

"We stayed at La Buro for two weeks during July 2014 with our two young girls aged 7 & 4 and had the most relaxing and lovely time in this beautifully furnished and finished home. Elizabeth, the owner, has done an amazing job to restore the farmhouse over the years and has created a calm and sophisticated home whilst also retaining all its local Tuscan charm. Elizabeth was such a help throughout the rental process and during our stay and even made our children's summer (possibly lives so far ;0)) by letting us "borrow" Lola, her dog, for several days. The pool was super for lazy days messing around in the water, with great views out over the valley and the grounds were idyllic. We all enjoyed spotting deer on the tracks in the morning and listening out for the owls calling to each other in the woods at dusk. The location was perfect for exploring local towns such as Cetona, Montepulciano etc as well as ideal to get onto the A1 for longer days away. We even managed to get to Pisa and Florence to provide a little flavour for our children. Everything at this beautiful farmhouse is genuinely as described here and by others - it really is a true gem. We have rented several houses a year across Europe for the past decade and this house has been our favourite and we look forward to being able to go back soon."
