  • Unbelievable Stay - We hope to be back!

"What an amazing Tuscany vacation! Our family of 6 (3 couples) absolutely loved our stay on Franca and Franco's vineyard. If you are looking for the perfect Tuscan getaway - seriously, do not look any further. You have breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, a villa tucked away on a vineyard, and local villages at your fingertips. Franca could not have been a better host. She was eager to provide us with restaurant recommendations, driving directions, hiking trails, etc. The restaurants she recommends were the best we had over our 10 day trip. Local places that we never would have found without her. The villa is very well suited for 3 couples. You each have your own bathroom, and the beds are comfortable. If you would like to cook, you have a kitchen with all the necessities. There is more than enough space for everyone. I would certainly recommend doing the wine tastings and cooking classes as well. It's an experience you'll never forget! A big thank you to Franca and Franco for an amazing stay. Remember, the cooking class with Mimma and Franca is not to be missed!"

  • Easter in San Sano

"We got here just fine. We stopped to take a couple pictures on the Monday and a family was having a picnic. They asked us to join them. We chatted for about a half hour and made it here by 4 pm. Tuesday we went grocery shopping, had lunch at Pizza Pie (great!) then headed into Siena. We enjoyed wondering around, shopping and finally enjoyed a glass of wine until it was time to go to have dinner with Ercole. We had a splendid time and the food was delicious. Wednesday we took the train out of Montivarchi to Florence. We spent the entire day touring. I think it was the best way to get there and back. No stress. Thursday we booked a cooking class with Simone in Lecchi. We got there at 9:30 and had such a wonderful time with home that before you knew it, it was 3:30 in the afternoon. Wonderful man! All of your recommendations were wonderful!!!! Now for Friday, we decided to go to Pisa and then drove back along the Mediterranean highway then back to apartment for dinner! Saturday we went on a wine tour at Felsina Estate as you recommended. Not that far away and joined a couple of young women for the tour. We had fun and bought wine and oil for the trip home. Today is Sunday and absolutely beautiful and sunny out so we are taking it easy and enjoying a glass of wine on the front deck of the apartment. The week has just flown by. Thank you again for allowing us to stay here. It is the perfect jump off point for people who want to travel within 150 km radius of where they are staying. The apartment was well stocked, spacious and very comfortable. It was very nice to have a place to relax and have some down time before starting out again."
