  • Highly Recommended!

"We stayed at this beautiful home for our wedding anniversary and fortunately it was a great choice; the Villa is large, and even though we were a group of 24 people we felt at ease, every room has a balcony or a private garden, a bathroom and a television. The pool is surrounded by a pleasant and fragrant garden. The owners are very friendly and upon request they can organize dinner, lunch and breakfast, honestly we took advantage of it , many times, in addition the food is fresh and delicious, the owners make also a great organic olive oil, that we purchased and shipped at home. All in all, highly recommended."

  • Tranquility

"After a two week river cruise through Europe, we were really for some relaxing. Villa Muraia delivered. What a tranquil place. On the edge of this hill top village overlooking the rolling hills - beautiful. Villa was exceptional, with everything you need. Hosts were helpful and informative. We were planning to do more day trips into the Tuscan area, but we mostly defaulted to just staying on our private patio and backyard and enjoying the peace and the view."

  • Dream Villa

"We stayed at Colletalli for a week in July and I can't imagine a more wonderful Tuscan holiday. The villa is perfectly located for day trips to Florence, Siena, Pisa and all the wonderful villages that dot the hillsides. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room with comfortable beds for all. One thing to be prepared for: there are only 2 bathrooms and 1 is a part of the master suite, so it can be tricky coordinating a lot of people in the mornings! But that didn't present any problems for us and we all felt we had lots of space for privacy or for gatherings, whichever we preferred. The house, rooms and surroundings are, if possible, even more beautiful than the pictures presented here. The pool was big enough for swimming laps and the setting is idyllic. We would recommend this villa confidently to anyone and hope to return ourselves. Luana and Christiano were wonderful hosts. Be sure to save a night for Luana's fabulous restaurant in town - Agriteca."

  • A vacation like no other !

"We rented this wonderful home for three weeks. Like so many other reviewers, we are well traveled. This was the best vacation we've ever had. The home is spectacular, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. The grounds are more mature than the pictures show, and the fragrance of the jasmine, lavender, roses, and other blossoms as they drift by is intoxicating. There is little noise, except for the constant melody of songbirds and the stream. There is no more delightful experience than having breakfast or lunch while lounging by the pool, an afternoon nap in the most confortable bed with fine linens, and then a long leisurely dinner alfresco on the patio surrounded by friends, family, and the spectacular Italian countryside. An this is just the outside of the house. Inside, you will find the perfect fusion of elegance and contemporary need. The king beds are a treat being that european rentals typically offer only full or queen size beds. The bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen is large and inviting, with all modern appliances. The house is also immaculately clean. The location is perfect, halfway between Punta Ala and Florence the trip to either city takes about an hour. one hour from Siena, Bolgheri, Montepulciano, the chianti region and San Giminiano, which makes for the perfect day trip. There are also dozens of villages within an a half hour drive or so. Each one has its own individual character, but all are charming, with their delightful central piazzas, blooming flowers in residents’window boxes, simple traditional restaurants, local residents going about their daily life…It would take weeks to see them all. Thank you, Gerardo and Lisa for creating this beautiful estate home. This was a vacation like no other. We will savor it and talk about it for years, and our children will talk about it for years to come!"
