  • Nice Property in San Gimingnano

"We loved San Gimingnano. This property is centrally located and if you have a car they will allow you to drive to and from the property to drop off and pick up luggage (big plus). Free parking is available but it is a bit of a walk (so is the pay parking). We stayed in the two bedroom two bath unit. It had a small kitchen and a table and chairs but no other sitting area in the unit. There are several units in the same listing, so you may want to clarify which unit you are renting if you have a preference."

  • Fantastic week in Chianti!!!!!!!!

"What an amazing dream vacation in Italy we had with our family of four. Your hosts at Erbolino, Riccardo and AnnaMaria are beyond unbelievable... they took time with giving us directions, making sure we had everything we needed, giving us plenty of privacy but there to offer advice as to sites to see, cooking classes, etc. if we needed. They live in the property above the home and also provided newspapers/maps with current events that was very helpful for us to check out. We visited a medieval festival in Rhadda. When we inquired about the use of a barbecue Riccardo even went into town to buy one for us to use. Unbelievably kind! The property was extremely comfortable with our two boys. We could eat in the dining room or sit out on the beautiful terrace with the view. Everyday we would hurry home from a great day of sightseeing to catch that nights unique sunset. There is a fully stocked kitchen and everything we could ever need. The bedrooms in our home were very comfortable. We never watched tv but did have plenty of Internet when needed. The home is a few minutes walk to the little hamlet(town) of Vertine, a quick drive down to the town of Gaiole (for groceries, bank, etc) and a 10 minute drive to highly recommended hilltop town of Rhadda. Not to mention its a close drive from dozens of other small darling medieval towns. We were sad to leave beautiful Erbolino...what wonderful people and an incredible vacation!!! We will be back someday!!"

  • Memorable view, superb house, and quietness

"We will allways remember these two marvellous weeks near Sienna in this superb property located in the middle of the vinyards. The house is big, very comfortable, nicely decorated and the kitchen is quite big. It was clean and had everything we needed. The garden is very pleasant with the pool, the big jaccuzzi and the hamac. The place was even better than anticipated. Bedrooms are big, the living room is huge and the six of us had plenty of space in this house. It is very easy to get to the beautiful city of Sienna, to visit so many medieval villages around, taste different wines, only 1 h from Florence. Perfect location. It is very quiet. We really recommend this place and would like to go back. The owner Francesca is very nice, she gave us many information and suggestions for places to visit."

  • A truly magical place

"We have recently returned from a fabulous vacation at La Buro and can't wait to return. It was definitely one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. The home is very well maintained and beautifully appointed. Everything you need to enjoy the Tuscan way of life is offered here and the owner, Elizabeth, went out of her way to ensure we would experience a wonderful vacation. The home has a pleasing, calm atmosphere and is positioned perfectly to explore the surrounding area. Our family of seven truly enjoyed the property and we spent many hours exploring the grounds, going on walks, and swimming in the pool. It was the ideal spot for us to stay in terms of being right in the middle of all the medieval towns we were looking forward to exploring. But the house and property itself held so many wonders that it was often difficult for us to pry ourselves away. The children especially never wanted to leave La Buro and we enjoyed many days just hanging around the property and enjoying the outdoors. We cooked many dinners in the well designed, well appointed kitchen and loved eating them in the outdoors dining area with gorgeous views in the evening. It is such a special place and we all adored it. Elizabeth arranged a fantastic Tuscan cooking class for us at a local farm as well as a dinner in the monastery near by. We also enjoyed a farm tour and cheese making experience (goat and sheep) with lunch overlooking the Val d'Orcia and took a short trip to La Foce which I highly recommend. I feel very fortunate to have spent time at this wonderful villa, it is a vacation we will all remember for a long time to come. Sarah (Ottawa, Canada)"
