Perfect place and location
"We stayed here with our family of 5. The place is a perfect location to hit some of the great towns in the area. Carla and Franco were great to work with and the views were amazing. The only problem I had was trying to get my wife to leave the place to see some of the sites in the area!!"

"We spent 6 days in September at Casa Buonsignori and it was just right for our needs--close to the centre of Siena and within easy walking distance of all the major sights within the wall. The apartment was clean and well equipped and includes a good wireless internet connection, an efficient washing machine, and lots of helpful books and materials about Siena and Tuscany. As the photos show, this apartment is furnished with older furniture, some well worn (though the bed is extremely comfortable), and the configuration of Siena's streets--narrow with tall buildings--means that the apartment, like the city, does not tend to be full of light. In other words, the apartment is cozy rather than bright and airy. (For example, the small terrace is a good functional space for drying laundry and for getting fresh air into the bedroom, but would not be a place to sit outside and soak up the sun!) We were extremely comfortable here and enjoyed the direct access to Siena's charming and very lively medieval streets."

"We rented the villa for a group of 14 friends and family members. The configuration of the rooms into various "suites" was ideal for our group, and provided a very useful mix of private time in the suites as well as time with the group in the common dining and living room areas. The location of the villa was also ideal as a central location for trips to San Gimignano, Sienna, Orvieto, Assisi, Florence, Cetona, Chiusi and many other small hill towns. We rented four cars and had a wonderful time exploring the Tuscan/Umbria countryside. As noted in other reviews, the WiFi is inconsistent. I'd also strongly recommend either bringing a GPS unit with an installed Italy map, or renting one from your car rental agency. It was priceless and aided our explorations immensely!
Linda was fabulous in helping us with our stay. Her advice as to things to see and towns to visit was invaluable, particularly since our visit spanned two Italian national holidays. The connections she has made with local wineries, restaurants and shopkeepers was also very valuable.
In summary, our stay went without a hitch. We'll be back...."
