  • Awesome location and view in the heart of Florence!

"The location of this apartment can't be beat. The Duomo is just outside the front door. We enjoyed listening to the crowds and musicians who gather in the square. The apartment was clean with plenty of room for our family of five. The location was perfect for walking to all the major sites. The air conditioning was really helpful during the summer heat. The only problem we had was with the internet connection. It was not always reliable and often very slow. Otherwise, the location, size and cleanliness were perfect."

  • What a Great Apartment!!

"What a jewel of an apartment in Lucca. My wife and I returned to Italy to visit Tuscany from here but found Lucca and the cozy apartment enough to keep us inside the walls for all but one day of our stay. The apartment is exactly like the pictures. Cozy, clean, upscale bathroom/shower, very nice kitchen, comfortable bed and great music to open your windows to. We are already discussing a return to this apartment for a much longer stay. Mrs. Sonia was very nice and helpful. She has her rental procedures down so there is no question that she is nothing but professional and personable. Lucca is such a quaint town (inside the walls) that we relaxed and enjoyed it very much. Open your windows to hear the music school next door and simply relax!!! Truly a gem, we will return. Thank you Mrs. Sonia!!!"

  • 5 stars for Sonia

"The high points of the apartment is clearly the location (central but with parking facilities), the interiors and the magnificent terrace. Could not be better. Close to everything, but on a side street that opens onto a lovely quiet little square. Has a charming sun exposed terrace with windows and French windows connecting indoor and outdoor: that is wonderful for people who are looking for privacy and Italian charm--or for total relaxation. Perfect! Sonia’s communications before were helpful and she met us on arrival and was available for any question. During our 4 weeks stay she visited us several times, she became almost part of our family. We loved to have someone reliable and kind that could assist us in case of need. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are located off the lounge and very private. This was a real plus for us. The laundry room even had washing machine. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and there was olive oil, a selection of herbs, sugar, coffee as well as a bottle of water and a bottle of wine provided which was very nice. The location was great. Lots of restaurants, cafes and a market within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere it was about 5/10 minutes from the central bus station. Most other attractions were nearer than this. The apartment provides a platform for a wonderful extended stay in Lucca and a perfect base to visit all over Tuscany and more. Thanks to signora Sonia and her team! Judy and Stephen from Michigan USA"

  • Perfect in EVERY way!

"The owner met us at the apartment and went over everything we needed to know. WOW, is all we can say about the location. Less than 2 blocks from Academia and Uffizi is a pleasant walk past the Duomo. You can actually see the apartment from the top of the Duomo! We asked for a leather shop recommendation and found exactly what we wanted. You will be happy if you choose to stay in this apartment during your stay in Florence."
