  • Perfect

"This apartment hit all my "must haves". Very clean! Location in the center of historical Orvieto. Price affordable and fair. Bed comfortable. Quiet. Owners went out of their way to help with information about shopping, restaurant, etc. Apartment was as pictured with more than enough room to be comfortable, safe and a place to do laundry. The kitchen had all amenities to prepare a meal or have a bottle of wine and relax. Felt like I was at home in Orvieto thanks to the apartment and it's owners! You can't go wrong with this nice apartment in this beautiful Italian hill town!!!"

  • A Wonderful Week in Orvietto

"My wife and I spent three months touring France and Italy this fall and our most outstanding memories are the week we spent at Le Velette. Simonetta and Corrado made us feel extremely welcome at their wonderful Wine Estate. We were welcomed by Simonetta very graciously after I had lost the fine directions she had earlier provided. She advised us to meet her at a spot we recognized where she came to lead us to the guest house. Upon arrival she gave us very clear guidance about how to use the various appliances, etc. including a wood pellet stove. At the same time we were introduced to the family dog, Ombria. Ombria and we spent a good deal of time together walking among the various vineyards on the estate. We were invited to attend a wine tasting and tour of the winery where we also learned a lot about the history of the estate and the winery. The property is very well decorated and maintained. Simonetta and Corrado were always quick to respond to questions we had and offered helpful suggestions. Our plans changed at the end of our scheduled stay, and Simonetta was very gracious in enabling us to stay an extra day. It was fortunate that our stay in Orvietto was near the conclusion of our three months, or we would have been tempted to try to stay there a good deal longer. My wife and I are trying to arrange for our children and grandchildren to join us for a stay there in 2016."

  • Don't miss this

"Words just can’t begin to describe how phenomenal the Rocca-di-Benano Villa is. Quaint, comfortable, centrally located, heated and air conditioned, a magnificent fireplace, comfortable beds, just an overall wonderful villa with no surprises and everything we could possibly want or need. I think besides its location, the amount of detail your provide and helpful hints on trips, eating, clothes, etc, make this a dream come true. Oh my….Simona and her meals she prepared for us at your villa, Chiara and Marco and their amazing organic farm, Emanuela is the nicest and best tour guide we’ve ever had, the restaurants whom you recommended and welcomed us with open arms, Alex and Olga greeting us and taking care of us at the villa, the surrounding towns, the friendly people, oh, where do I stop? Thank you for all the time you spent helping us make this a trip of lifetime. I’ve already been telling folks they need to plan a trip."

  • The perfect escape to experience a taste of Italy.

"This friendly family run farm is a real find in the heart of Umbria, half an hour by car from Perugia. The owners have achieved the perfect balance of making you feel that you are completely independent but are also available to give you all the information that you need to enjoy the “real Italy .“ The standard of accommodation is excellent with everything provided and thought about, our apartment had both a dishwasher and a washing machine for our sole use .It was very clean and well presented. The luxury of having abundant tomatoes and vegetables picked from the farm and the opportunity for the children to pick your own was a great excitement. Delicious olive oil, wine and homemade produce was also available from for a few euros. The cooking activities had attracted us to Casa Rondini on the website and they were not a disappointment, in fact they were one of the highlights that the children are still talking about! There is plenty to visit in the surrounding areas from traditional Italian hill top villages, the historic towns of Assisi and Orvieto . On return a cool dip was always welcome in the refreshing pool. The children also enjoyed the waterfalls, water sports on Lago Trasimento and visiting the well-known chocolate factory (home of Baci). There is something for everyone."
