  • Amazing location Venice

"We loved our Venice rental. The location was ideal. Although in the middle of everything, it was very quiet and secure. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom was spotless with lots of towels. Nina met us and was very helpful and pleasant. We had a great experience and the rates were very reasonable. Thank you!"

  • Venice gem!

"My 17 year old son and I spent a week in this lovely apartment. It is perfectly situated to explore all of Venice. It is a stunning property filled with old world charm and modern amenities. The decor matches the pictures exactly and it was presented to us in immaculate condition. The kitchen is fully stocked, not only with all the necessities but many culinary extras including a nice set of knives. There are also pantry staples which were so helpful for the night we wanted a simple dinner at home. There are multiple grocery options, some steps out the front door and more comprehensive choices within a three minute walk. The apartment is less than very easy a ten minute walk to St. Marks Square. This is a fabulous option as everyone tells you the best thing to do in Venice is get lost. We explored the entire city using this concept as we knew without a doubt we could always find our way back to St. Marks and thus home. The immediate neighborhood around the apartment is MUCH less congested than closer to the square. There is foot traffic and there are many shops but it has a true Venitian neighborhood feel. There are also two fabulous restaurants right at the end of the street. One is Olivia Nera and the other is the Tratorria that has the most marvelous fish. Make reservations as you head out for your morning adventures! We had excellent communication from Mario throughout the rental process. He was instantly responsive to all inquiries and provided a wealth of information about Venice, transportation, the apartment and the arrival process. We took the Alilugana water transport from the airport and we were met at the terminal stop by Jeanette. The process described for our arrival worked perfectly and she was very friendly and gracious. She showed us to the apartment, gave us information about the ammenities, city water taxis and showed us how to find the grocery. The apartment has a very safe and secure location. It is located on the fourth floor so be prepared to carry up suitcases. There is a locked private entrance to the building located down a short passageway. Once you reach the apartment there is a locked door to a vestibule and a locked door to your apartment. The vestibule was the perfect safe place to store luggage the day we checked out. I have used VRBO for apartments for the last 15 years in locations all over the world. I have never been disappointed in my choices, but this apartment ranks in my top three. Loved it!"

  • Convenient location

"I have been to Venice many times, so I was aware of the area, and it suited out needs. When I called Elisa because it took us a little longer to get to the apartment than we anticipated, and we were afraid we had missed her, she was a little unpleasant because she though I was criticizing her, but she turned out to be very charming in person. Mario and Laura were very easy to work with as we planned the trip. As in all of Venice, the main street, San Lio, was overcrowded, but when we stepped off 2 "blocks" to the apartment, it was another world with very little foot traffic. The apartment is large, and, although there is only a central air wall unit for the whole apartment, it kept the whole apartment very, very cool!! Everything was exactly like the pictures. Our only problem was that the windows face other apartment windows right across the tiny calle--think 6 feet away. Their televisions could have been in our rooms with us, even with the windows closed. Thus is the nature of staying in a neighborhood which is what we prefer, but do note that if you need peace and quiet at all times. The apartment was very easy to find, but the door is not green as stated in the directions; it is brown. It was a quick walk across Campo Bartelemeo to the Hotel Rialto dock where we met our water taxi at 4AM!"

  • Best location, all conveniences

"We are a family consisting of 2 adults and 2 small children. We stayed at Ca'Luna for a week, and we were extremely happy with our decision to stay here. The apartment is wonderfully situated. Very close to San Marco, right off of a busy path, and around the corner from a large square with a church, restaurants, fruit stand, fountain, etc. Although not right on a canal, the street ends at a busy canal, so you can hear gondoliers singing if you open the kitchen window. It actually because one of our favorite past times: getting ice cream around the corner and then sitting on the dock at the end of the street and wave at gondolas. A wonderful pizza shop. baker, grocery store, and ice cream store- very close. Apartment is well appointed and has good air conditioning. We will stay here again on our next trip."
