  • Great location! Spacious

"The description was totally accurate regarding location (it is 3 min. from St. Mark´s, right between it and St. Zachary, just perfect!). The photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. Bedrooms were bright and spacious. We found it very clean and well-maintained. Everything works ok. Camilla was very kind, and easy to deal with. Sophie was great, very helpfull helping us by recommending a lot of attractions and restaurants. It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Guilio too. It's true that stairs might be challenging for some, but it was no problem for us. We definitely recommend this property to others, and will return here!"

  • Very good place to stay with a lovely terrace

"I'm happy to say that I had pleasant stay at Casa dei Pittori's Ca' Guardi apartment. My family stayed for 4 nights, and we enjoyed having our base in Santa Croce, away from the press of tourist crowds. Francesco was unable to meet us, but a kind and warm man named Herbert did the honors and was wonderful to us. He gave us a bit of an introduction to the area and the apartment. During our stay, we absolutely delighted in the terrace, the best feature of the apartment. The decor is as photographed, though not quite as dark as it appears. An unpleasant surprise, however, was finding that the bed in the master bedroom was not more than about 8 inches from the floor. My parents, both of whom have some mobility issues, found it a challenge. Another complication was that a previous guest had broken the toilet handle in the bathroom. Though a temporary measure had been taken to make it functional, it was not fixed before our arrival (evidently, not enough time between bookings). After a couple of efforts to repair the issue failed--it was perhaps more complicated than it appeared--we determined that we could make do with it as is. We simply didn't wish any further time or energy to be spent arranging its being fixed when we wanted to explore. These things happen, and Simone and Francesco were entirely agreeable and helpful throughout. When leaving, Simone and Francesco helped us arrange to have a porter take our luggage to the train station, which was an excellent help. A good end to a lovely stay."

  • It really is a charming apartment in the heart of Verona.

"The apartment is located just a two minute walk down the street from the Piazza Bra, the main square in Verona. It is private, yet central and very quiet. The apartment is furnished with everything you would need for your stay. Plenty of restaurants nearby. If you feel like cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, there is a large supermarket just around the corner. We found that very convenient and on a few nights we brought home a rotisserie chicken to go with salad and pasta. The apartment has a quiet private patio, but when you walk out the main door of the building, you are in the heart of Verona, ready to take in all of it's beauty."

  • Wonderful!

"Hi Stefania, thank you so much for your help during our stay. The apartment was wonderful, very well equipped, great proximity and a great view out the window. If you needed anything you found it in this apartment, we were able to eat in or out with great restaurants near and grocery stores as well. We had four in our company my wife and our two sons with plenty of room without running into each other. The bed rooms were clean as was the bedding, etc. plus there was a washing machine as well. The whole apartment was clean which was so nice to walk into after a long drive. Stefania was very helpful in giving directions as well as suggesting places to visit and things to do. It was a great experience. I would caution anyone that does not like stairs or has difficulty in climbing stairs to keep this in mind (it is the top floor, at least four flights). There is a lift but it is not for public use. We handled the stairs fine but just a word of caution."
