  • Comfortable flat, convenient location, great host!

"I rented this flat when I went on a business trip last May and had a surprisingly pleasant stay. I thought it was just a convenient place to stay at , but I was surprised with how warm and comfortable the flat was. Despite its convenient location, close to the commercial area, it somehow maintained its charm and quietness, away from the craziness of urban London. Nice place to stay when in London. Comfortable flat, convenient location, great host!"

  • Beautiful Property; Perfect Location in Tuscany

"First, thanks to Barbara, for being such a gracious and accommodating hostess. We really appreciated all she did for us, including making restaurant reservations, arranging a winery tour and tasting, and her local knowledge. The property is a charming old building, beautifully restored. Comfortable furniture, garden. Suitable for a family, or 2 - 3 couples. Location is in a quaint village, close to Pienza, Montipulciano, and Montalcino. If you want to go wine tasting, or see southern Tuscany, this is a perfect location. Highly recommended. Would return in a heartbeat!"

  • Romantic getaway

"Our first trip to Paris and rather than stay in a hotel, we wanted to have more room, walk to shops, have breakfast in. Never rented through VRBO, so apprehensive. We were met by the owner who kindly showed us how to use everything, gave recommendations for store and meals and was extremely pleasant. The apartment was beautiful and extremely well equipped. The location was exactly what we had wanted and described. Fabulous views of the Seine River and Notre Dame. Busy in the day, quiet at night. In fact, we went to Loire Valley from this apartment and asked to come back and stay a couple nites til our flight left. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay, should we, hopefully return. Thank you Katia and Yann!"

  • Excellent!

"Excellent all around! The apartment looked even better in person than it did in the pictures. My wife and I are walkers and we walked all over the city from this apartment - the location is great! If walking is not your thing there is a metro station very close (Sant Antoni). There is an awesome gourmet grocery store a few doors down that we really enjoyed (they have excellent grab and go salads, etc.). Before booking I noticed a few reviews discussing issues with burglaries - do NOT let this deter you from booking this beautiful apartment. First off, the neighbourhood is very safe, so no concern there. Secondly, the owner has installed a high security lock (magnetic), in addition to the other heavy duty locks. I laughed when I saw the locks as I couldn't imagine anyone ever getting into this apartment unless they left the door unlocked. Very secure! Lastly, it is true that the easiest way to get to the apartment is Euro Bus. However, for the cost of a round-trip bus pass you can get the T10 transport ticket. This ticket is good for 10 metro rides and you can share the ticket. It is also good for the Renfe train that you can take to/from the airport (Terminal 2 only). You can take the train to Passeig de Gracia and then take the metro from Passeig de Gracia towards Parallel. Get off at Sant Antoni and you have a short 1 block walk to the apartment. The advantage of doing this is that you still have 8 metro rides to use (Renfe to Passeig de Gracia is 1 ride, Metro to Sant Antoni is 1 ride)."
