Comfortable, well-located apartment
"Gordon, the owner, has thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The apartment makes you feel as though you are in a home and not a sterile rental. I stayed eith a friend and we each had enough private space as the pullout bed in the living room was comfortable and easy to open and close. The bathroom is lovely and recently remodeled. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook or enjoy tea and biscuits in the morning. Gordon is wonderful to work with and a responsive and helpful host through the booking process from beginning to end. The apartment is quiet and a short walk through the park takes you into all the main Edinburgh attractions. Pick up bus 35 just around the corner and opposite the Parliament building to visit the Royal Yacht Brittania. Just drop the 1.50£ fare into the box near the driver. Less than two blocks past Parliament on the same side of the street, grab a pork sandwich at Oink. They roast a whole pig and offer a variety of house prepared sauces. Grab a pint at the beautiful and plentiful pubs throughout the city and discover the many varieties of beer and good food. I can't wait to return to this apartment and Edinburgh with my husband."

"We stayed in this apartment for three nights in June and recommend it very highly. The host graciously offered to let us check in around 8 a.m. because we arrived on an early flight, even though that meant she couldn't rent the apartment the night before. The location is amazing, a half block off Princes Street, just around the corner from Waverley Train Station and close to many restaurants. Despite being in the middle of things, the apartment itself was quiet, perhaps because of the double-paned windows. Nicely decorated, scrupulously clean, and well-equipped, the apartment met all of our needs. If we ever return to Edinburgh, we will definitely stay here again."
