"My husband and I shared this apartment with another couple. The apartment was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay, including coffee, tea and a fresh carton of milk. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. When sharing housing with other people, it was really nice to have 2 1/2 bathrooms. I would recommend this apartment to anyone."

"My Partner and I were celebrating one of life's milestones and we were so glad we chose the hospitality of Debbie and Philip who made our stay in Edinburgh incredible. From the fact that the apartment had everything we needed to feel at home and a place to relax after days of exploration of the sights throughout Edinburgh. To sharing their knowledge of the city and surroundings to make the best of a few days exploring the city. . We found that using Pilrig House as our base it was very easy getting throughout the city using public transportation.
Thank you for making a "special" Birthday even better."

"Our family of 4 spent 2 nights in Lynn's apartment - just a 10 minute walk from the castle and very centrally located to all major sights. The apartment is cozy but has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Lynn is very helpful in helping get you settled in - even providing some basic supplies for the first morning's breakfast. The area is just outside the Old Town - and the apartment is in a relatively new apartment building around the corner from the Hilton and close to several mini-supermarkets and numerous cafes. Not as fancy an area as New Town, but OK. Pictures in VRBO are quite representative of the place."

"As previous innkeepers, my husband and I fully realize how much time and energy is needed to run a B@B. Debbie and Philip are excellent at what they do-from cleanliness, to decorating, to literally taking you to Rossalyn Chapel! Both have a wealth of knowledge about Edinburgh and are willing to impart this to you in a very warm and often humorous way. We had a wonderful stay in the Garden Apartment for 10 days and that is do to our wonderful hosts.
The location on the park was great-a feeling of country in the city. We found using the buses easy and that is saying something for people that don't use public transportation very much! Food was really very good-thanks to recommendations from Debbie and Philip. As for our apartment, it was beyond expectations! I have never seen such clean grout in a bath in my entire life! We would love to come back again. Mike and Sue"
