"Stayed in this apartment Sept. 30 - Oct. 5 . We are 2 couples and wanted King beds with ensuite bathroom with showers ( hard to find in Europe ). This apartment was perfect for our needs. Being on the top floor ( 8th ) , we had stunning views from each bedroom terrance. The larger terrace ( off the rear bedroom ) faced the interior of the block so it was very quiet. While we did not cook, the kitchen was fully equipped. WiFi and TV worked fine as did the washer and dryer. Showers are huge with rain heads. Was really nice to have an elevator ! Valentin and his sister were easy to work with.
PS: Don't hit the alarm button inside the front door of the apartment......which I did by mistake. It's really loud. We called Valentin and he gave us the code to reset. The 2 lobby doors are locked at all times...don't know why you even need an alarm system."

Great Location, Well Equipped, Very nice and helpful Staff
"We just arrived home after staying here for 5 nights. We had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The apartment is very close to the metro. There is a supermarket right across the street as well as a fantastic fruit and veg stand in a separate entry from the grocery. Bread/ pastries down the street within 2 minutes. Every thing is easy to navigate. We asked for wine glasses and they brought them to us, we also needed a hairdryer which was also brought up to us. After staying in hotels the previous week, we forgot to bring soaps and shampoo which one should remember. The washing machine was a real help. They don't provide beach towels. There is a lift. Water was hot, air conditioning worked well. People before had left some condiments, washing soap, and dish soap so that was nice. Everything is IKEA so it has a nice look to it. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans, serving dishes, knives (although not sharp) pasta fork, cork screw..etc...
The ONLY thing that prohibits me from giving 5 stars is that the BED ARE TERRIBLE! I mentioned it to the staff and they said they have had other complaints and the manager was looking into getting new mattresses. It felt like we were sleeping on box springs with no mattress. We managed to put blankets and duvet covers over the mattress and that helped but hopefully they will invest in proper mattresses or at least a foam mattress cover soon.
All in all, we loved the spaciousness and the location and I would stay again providing they get NEW BEDS!"

"The apartment is vey nice and was exceptionally clean. The owner, Chelo, could not have been more helpful. The apartment is situated within walking distance of several of the main sights, and underground stations are not far away (the underground is easy to use). We found taxis easy to get and they delivered us as quickly as possible (in October, the city was reasonably calm and we did not experience any hold-ups except during rush hour). There is a good, very reasonably-priced restaurant, called Portoles, just around the corner: the food was very good."
