  • Beautiful gite and excellent hosts

"We spent a very relaxing two weeks in this beautiful gite which was surrounded by a delightful garden. The gite was very comfortable and clean and contained everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday. Carolyn and Tony were wonderful hosts and they made us feel at home straight away, nothing was too much trouble Although the gite was in a very peaceful location it was only a short drive to many of the attractions of Normandy. I would recommend this gite to anyone and would certainly be delighted to stay there again in the future."

  • Amazing Apartment

"We rented this apartment for 13 days over Thanksgiving this year and it was absolutely amazing. The location of the apartment is one of the best parts, it is walking distance to the Louvre and right in the heart of one of the best shopping areas. There is a little park one block away and the Les Halles metro station is right around the corner. We also found wonderful restaurants to eat at in the neighborhood that had great food. I was extremely impressed by how big this apartment actually was, there were only three of us for this girls trip we had plenty of room. Jean- Paul was extremely helpful sending us instructions ahead of time that allowed us to easily get in, he even arranged for us to check in early for a small fee so we had somewhere to drop our bags while we explored the city. All in all we had one of the most amazing trips to Paris and this apartment really made us feel at home. We will definitely rent this unit again if we ever make it back to Paris. Thank you so much Jean- Paul!"

  • An ideal Paris location

"My wife and I had a wonderful Paris vacation using 8 Rue de Braque as our base. The apartment was perfect, very well located, just a short walk from the heart of Paris and conveniently located to several convenient metro stops. The variety of nearby shops made it easy to grab a morning coffee and croissant (or baguette) to start the day. Having the extra space in the apartment made is much easier to feel at home after long days walking about absorbing the charm of Paris. Having a kitchen was great – we were able to keep “essentials” in the refrigerator so we could relax after long days spent being immersed in the culture of Paris. The Marais district was amazing to explore and was teaming with life – yet the apartment was tucked away on a quiet, secluded street allowing for restful nights."

Getting to Sweden

Sweden is located in the far northern part of Europe and one of the Scandinavian countries. It is well connected to Europe by road rail and air, and there are frequent flights to North America and other continents. The major airport is in Stockholm which is the country's largest city and capital. To get to Stockholm, there are direct flights from most major European cities such as London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Munich. There are also transatlantic flights from New York City, Chicago, Seattle and Washington DC. Sometimes these flights route via Copenhagen in neighboring Denmark. In the far southern part of Sweden at the city of Malmo, there is a 10-mile bridge which connects to Copenhagen in Denmark. This is the main road and rail access point into the country. There are also numerous ferries that operate between Sweden and its Scandinavian neighbors.
