  • Bonvicino!!

"Piedmont is a wonderful area to visit and explore. This villa is so fun to stay in. The kitchen is so fun to cook and eat in. The pool area is great with view of the beautiful mountains. Easy to do day trips, wine tasting, and eating locally. We all had a fabulous memorable vacation."

  • Les Bons Enfants - fabulous and perfect location!

"After staying in a Paris hotel for a week, Les Bons Enfants was a breath of fresh air and the perfect antidote to cramped, confined hotel rooms spaces. As a family of 4 adults and 1 infant, we were delighted to find the apartment met all our requirements. Very tastefully decorated, it was comforting and relaxing and child friendly, yet with a feeling of luxury. Bright and airy, the apartment had great views over the surrounding rooftops of Dijon and was spotlessly clean. Although we had looked at the location before booking, we had no real concept of how close it was to all the sights of Dijon. Literally less than a minute's walk and your at the Place de la Liberation with it's beautiful fountains and many restaurants. Perfect for an evening coffee and dessert. The main shopping street Rue de la Liberte continues on from this, so it was very easy to walk every and enjoy the historic town. We also opted to take part in Viviane and Laure's Open Air Market tour and lunch, available when the Les Halles Markets are on. It is a food lovers paradise! So many delicacies to see and buy, and it also included a stop in at the famous Maille mustard shop, a chocolaterie and fromagarie. Viviane and Laure purchased some delicious morsels form the market and the fromagerie to go with the fabulous 5 course lunch that was prepared and enjoyed in the comfort of Laure's apartment. The food was outstanding and the company even better. We could not recommend this option enough! All in all our stay in Dijon was the highlight of our trip to France, made extra special by the warmth and friendliness shown to us by our lovely host host Viviane!"

  • Wow!

"Our family of four had the good fortune to stay in this lovely villa for one week at the beginning of August. We highly recommend this property and are hoping to return soon! We recommend this property for the following reasons: 1. Location: The house is an easy 10 minute drive from Arezzo, which is an amazing medieval town with many historical things to see. There are also many restaurants and a large, modern grocery store in town which is very convenient. From this great location, you can easily make day trips to Cortona, Assisi, Sienna and Florence. 2. Setting: We had high expectations for the property after seeing the photos online but were blown away by the beauty of the grounds and the views. The villa sits at the top of a large hill on several acres of land which contain a small grove of olive trees. The setting is so peaceful and tranquil and the views of the Tuscan landscape are truly spectacular. We loved spending time in the large pool savoring the views. 3. Historic Villa: The spacious villa has been lovingly restored to maintain it's authenticity and has ample room for a large family or for several couples. Three of the bedrooms have private baths attached and there is an additional half bath near the entry hall. 4. Helpful Owners: The rental of this villa was very easy because the owners are so helpful and accommodating. They are justifiably proud of this beautiful property and we felt like they wanted to do everything possible to make sure we had a terrific holiday in their home. We are already planning our return trip to this Tuscan gem!"

Seasons to Visit Turkey Vacation Rentals

In general, Turkey is a destination that can be visited all times of the year. There is a wide variety of attractions for visitors with a diverse range of interests. For those who plan on visiting Turkey’s beaches, the summer months are best. June and July are the hottest months of the year and often also the busiest tourist season. For those who want to combine sightseeing with enjoying some relaxation in the sun, the springtime is a good time of year to visit. The temperatures are a little milder and the countryside is particularly beautiful. Also since it's outside of the peak travel season, you can enjoy not having to line up at major tourist sites. For those who have an interest in cultural sightseeing, autumn is another good time of year to visit. Even though the days are shorter, the temperatures are still warm and mild. The season runs from September through October.

Getting to Turkey

There are four main international airports providing access to Turkey. If you are traveling from North America, it is most likely that you will fly into Attaturrk International Airport in Istanbul. From there, you can get a domestic flight on to your vacation destination. Other international airports are located in Sabiha Gokcen outside of Istanbul as well as in Izimir and Ankara, the country’s capital. If you cannot find a direct flight to Turkey from your home, you may consider looking into flights to any one of the major European air hubs. From there, you could get a regional flight or travel overland by road or rail to Turkey.
