  • AWESOME PLACE

"The house and property was even better then advertised. The water was very clear with a sandy bottom which made it nice for fishing or swimming. The house slept 10 easily and with over 3500 square feet there was plenty of room to spread out. Of course with baseball playoffs and college football the 6 BIG HD tv's really helped. The deck area was great (and large) with lots of room for a BBQ and hanging out and watching the sun go down. The master bedroom upstairs was fantastic. Even though you have a very good website my group always have lots of questions and I appreciative you being so responsive. We definitely hope to get back next year and catching some more bass. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants enjoy the water or just kick back. Thanks again for helping making it a great stay"

  • Great location!

"My husband and I enjoyed staying in this apartment in Venice. The location was perfect - close to St. Mark's but far enough away to be away from the chaos. The neighborhood around the apartment has excellent character. The apartment is spacious and even better in person. We visited in September and there were mosquitos in the apartment. We were able to keep them out of the bedroom by closing the windows and turning on the fan above the bed."

  • DEL CANTO PENTHOUSE 5-STAR CONDO

"We have been enjoying the DEL CANTO high class 3 BR / 3 BATH ocean front penthouse condo during February and March for the last two years. The 40 feet long 10th floor ocean front well furnished balcony offers an unforgettable pool and ocean view. The two huge heated pools, the clean sandy beach, the constant sunny 82 deg. day-temp. and the warm ocean water keeps Hawaii way behind...but much closer! We already miss our long walks along this endless beautiful beach and our daily ocean swims. We HIGHLY recommend Nuevo Vallarta and particularly this Del Canto penthouse condo. WE INTEND TO SOON COME BACK!! YOLANDE and MICHEL from MONTREAL, CANADA."

Top United Kingdom Travel Attractions and Activities

The United Kingdom is made up of four separate countries -- England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Each of these regions has its own wealth of attractions but there are a few things that they have in common. Throughout the UK, you will find ancient castles and ruins of former fortresses. Each of these has its own unique tale to tell. Many of the castles are still in use today, either as royal residences, museums or boutique hotels. Scotland and Northern Ireland in particular are known for their impressive and ancient castles.

The UK is a popular golfing destination; Northern Ireland and Scotland rank as two of the best golfing destinations. There is the famous St. Andrews Golf Course in Scotland where leading PGA tournaments are played each year. There are literally hundreds of other golf courses to choose from. In the cities, such as London and Edinburgh, there are many historical sites to visit. As the nation's capital London has a rich and detailed history. There is also the famous museum of waxworks called Madam Tussaud's where you can see famous personalities from around the world immortalized in wax.

Seasons to Visit the United Kingdom

The weather of the United Kingdom is characterized by rain, and a lot of it. The advantage of this is that the rural landscapes are perpetually green and very scenic. Winters are generally quite long and in the central and northern regions, snowfalls are not uncommon. Winter starts from mid-October and generally lasts until the end of April. Spring and autumn are usually quite short-lived. Summer is from June to August and daytime temperatures can get quite hot. On a sunny day, especially if it is on the weekend, you will see many of the locals out and about making the most of the good weather. Summertime is traditionally the peak tourist season and major tourist attractions can get very crowded. If you are willing to travel out of season and possible put up with a little bit of bad weather, you can benefit from some great travel deals.
