"This house was a great location only 2 blocks from downtown so no driving was necessary, which was nice. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The house was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and for conversations to flow."

  • Great views, wonderful city.

"Casa Rosa is dramaticaly situated and offers from every room in the house magnificent views of Guanjuato, a spectacular and effervescent city. We greatly appreciated our month in the house, the help and attention of the house manager, the visits of one the local cats who we adopted, the proximity of the city center, the beauty of the city scape. Climbing to the house is a demanding exercise but gets one rapidly into shape."

"Wonderfully comfortable home located centrally between Boone and Blowing Rock; only minutes to each. Endless mountain vistas from the two decks. Owners very helpful. Feels like ones own home vs rental. Highlights were the Charity Horse Show and Tweetsie RR. The Village restaurant in BR has a fantastic breakfast."

Winters are generally quite long and in the central and northern regions, snowfalls are not uncommon. Winter starts from mid-October and generally lasts until the end of April. Spring and autumn are usually quite short-lived. Summer is from June to August and daytime temperatures can get quite hot. If you are willing to travel out of season and possible put up with a little bit of bad weather, you can benefit from some great travel deals.
