  • The perfect Barcelona stay!

"I searched and searched for the perfect place to stay while visiting my son who was studying abroad in Barcelona. After a great deal of research I decided to book David's apartment and I as SO GLAD I DID! The location was perfect for a beautiful place to rest after a full day of sight seeing. Everything we could need was very close by and David is an excellent host! He answered many questions I had before our arrival, met us at the apartment upon arrival and already provided us with many necessities so there was no need to go out right away for supplies. His knowledge of Barcelona is so impressive and he patiently explains how to get to all of the highly recommended places to visit and offers wonderful suggestions. It was so comforting to know that at any time I could call or email him for advice or assistance while we were there. Now, for his apartment! So charming, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our 6 night stay. It was wonderful to have a completely stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer. The apartment had more than enough room for 4 adults and could easily accommodate more. If you are considering a stay in Barcelona, David will exceed all of your expectations with a most pleasant place to stay and an extremely hospitable host! If we ever travel to Barcelona again we will only stay here!"

  • Beach Birthday Bliss

"The Treehouse was home to my wife and I for an extended weekend and birthday celebration. We love Rosemary Beach and this home is everything Rosemary stands for: elegant, stylish, whimsical, relaxing, warm and inviting. We were lacking not a single amenity, even a charcoal grill in the courtyard to grill delicious meals and dine al fresco. The owners are friendly and make you feel at home and part of the family. We would recommend this home without a doubt and plant to return as quickly as possible!"

  • Wonderful

"My husband and I stayed here with our four year old daughter and black lab. The place was wonderful. Exactly what our family needed to enjoy the area. We hiked, biked, fished, and went to Idlewild. My daughter loved the bunk bed room. I highly recommend Winter Wonderland."

The United Kingdom is made up of four separate countries -- England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Each of these regions has its own wealth of attractions but there are a few things that they have in common. Throughout the UK, you will find ancient castles and ruins of former fortresses. Each of these has its own unique tale to tell. Many of the castles are still in use today, either as royal residences, museums or boutique hotels. Scotland and Northern Ireland in particular are known for their impressive and ancient castles.

The UK is a popular golfing destination; Northern Ireland and Scotland rank as two of the best golfing destinations. There is the famous St. Andrews Golf Course in Scotland where leading PGA tournaments are played each year. There are literally hundreds of other golf courses to choose from. In the cities, such as London and Edinburgh, there are many historical sites to visit. As the nation's capital London has a rich and detailed history. Here you can see the famous attractions of Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral and the London Tower Bridge. Seasons to Visit the United Kingdom

The weather of the United Kingdom is characterized by rain, and a lot of it. The advantage of this is that the rural landscapes are perpetually green and very scenic. Winters are generally quite long and in the central and northern regions, snowfalls are not uncommon. Winter starts from mid-October and generally lasts until the end of April. Spring and autumn are usually quite short-lived. Summer is from June to August and daytime temperatures can get quite hot. On a sunny day, especially if it is on the weekend, you will see many of the locals out and about making the most of the good weather. Summertime is traditionally the peak tourist season and major tourist attractions can get very crowded. If you are willing to travel out of season and possible put up with a little bit of bad weather, you can benefit from some great travel deals.
