  • BEST 30TH BDAY EVER!

"I still picture myself in the jacuzzi looking at the beautiful view. I had my birthday weekend celebration with friends and we're all still talking about the great time we had. My friends and i were blown away. The house is beautiful, every casitas is nice and cozy. The kitchen is where we spent a lot of time and when we had the caterers (thanks again for the poc lizzy) come over we enjoyed watching them cook that delicious food. I enjoyed the master bedroom and everything else in the house. The pictures don't give it justice. I definitely recommend this for everyone that's looking to spend time with family, friends and just enjoy a nice gateway. Lizzy is a wonderful person. From the first time i talked to her over the phone. Great communication, she always replied to emails immediately. She absolutely took care of me and my friends. I can't wait to go back. My friends and I are already planning our next vacation!!! Thanks Lizzy this was one of the best vacations ever!"

  • Exceeded our expectation, amazing place to stay.

"All I can say it's great. The management team is friendly. The panoramic view of the living room of the ocean and the shoreline is truly breath taking. Its great for families, the house is very spacious. The house is clean and the location is near everything. The deck upstairs has a view of the ocean and the bay, what an amazing place to party. Every bedroom has an ocean or a bay view. The beach is amazing, when the tide is in its still all beach. I took my daughter and her friends, they had a great time. Perfect for families. The ocean is very safe because of the pennisulas that flank the house and Todos Santos Island as a breakwater. We took long walks and rode our bikes."

  • Great view and plenty of space...

"When we arrived at the home and opened the door we were wowed by the view. Being on a bluff makes such a difference. The rental property pictures did not show a photo to the left side, which was more industrial looking, with development in progress. We took most of our pictures facing the opposite direction, in such a way that you could not see the properties to the right of the patio. Two of the three patios of this second floor home, were spacious, especially the one off both the master bedroom/ dining area. We had most of our meals there. Having so many windows around the home made it feel so much larger. The fireplace was ok, but you have to know how to deal with the damper. The home had plenty of living area space. The kitchen had a blender, which was used frequently! There were no other renters on either side of us during our stay, which made for great privacy! Cathy was excellent. She went above and beyond, particularly with our transportation needs, to assist us. She answered any questions we had in a timely manner. She scheduled the birthday cake for the time we requested, and had the home decorated with roses, before we arrived. Truly a wonderful addition. (We would highly recommend this!) The sofa was super comfy and large. The directions to the home were clear and easy to understand, as well as the information provided for activities in the general area. (We would, however, advise looking into reviews of the restaurants in Puerto Nuevo, known for it's lobster). We recommend you stock up on groceries before you arrive, as it is a bit of a drive to locate a store from the rental. The reason we gave the home a 4 star rating , rather than five was due to several things. When we tried the garbage disposal, black gunk spurted out. (We did inform Cathy of this). We did not use it the rest of our stay, covering it with paper towels, due to the smell. The oven was very slow and when we did use it, baked unevenly. The kitchen could really use some updating. Cupboards, stove, counters... There were plenty of utensils and dishes to use. The floors were not as clean as they should have been. All of our feet were black not long after we walked around the home. The clothes washes was dirty, with caked on soap...needs a good cleaning. The beds were decorated nicely. The master was quite soft and we experienced back aches. We spent one night on the sofa. All in all this was a very nice place! Thank you for sharing your home!"

  • Picture Perfect Weekend!

"Villa Nirvana is just what the name implies -- Nirvana! We met another couple and shared the house, which is HUGE! Tons of common space in the enormous living room, den and "maid's quarters" so you never feel like you're bumping into anyone else or can't get away to find your own space if you just want to "chill." Each bedroom is set up as a master suite with its own bathroom - all of them very large so no one has to feel that they've drawn the short straw and is getting stuck with lesser accommodations than someone else. Kitchen was well stocked; laundry room in the house with detergent supplied; hair dryers in bathrooms. Every shower had shampoo and conditioner in case you don't bring your own. The Wifi and TV (a dish??) worked as advertised. Our group didn't golf, but the views from each room and the patio made me want to take up the sport! The golf resort/hotel/restaurant/bar is a short walk or drive. Tons of places to walk/hike around the gated development - felt super safe the entire time. You can also rent bikes at the hotel if your not a golfer. Peaceful enclosed front patio with a pond and fountain was the perfect spot to start the day with a cup of coffee unless you wanted to sit in the lounge chairs facing the ocean with the golf course below. As for the border crossing - the construction that had been going on (seemingly forever) is done and the crossing north only took about 20 minutes for us - a big improvement from before. Highly recommended!"
