  • Amazing house and location!

"This is a beautiful property! The parking is inclosed on property (open the drive gate wall and pull in!) and it makes it very easy to unload and load the car at the back door. Pulling all the way through you could get two cars in. The first thing we noticed that is not mentioned in the other reviews is once you open up the house the breeze coming through was amazing! The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped and we used it all. We cooked in most nights and it was fantastic! this house has all the amenities of home, Direct TV (master has a new flat screen), living room and one of the bedrooms. What I thought the pictures did not capture was the beautiful tile floors throughout and very nice and wide staircase to the master. 3/4 of the way up the stairs there are large windows looking out at the ocean and another deck off the left side of the house. I think outside of the location the best part of this house is the master bedroom; Stunning! Very large (it would be like a large suite in a nice hotel). It has a set of french doors that lead to an amazing deck that was great for our morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. We spent a lot of time on that deck watching the world go by on the beach. We brought my daughter and her friend, both 15 years old and they loved it and both did not want to leave. The house is everything plus more as the owner Linda states on the site. Although Linda does not mention on the site there were a few perks we took advantage of. One morning we had fresh tamales delivered to us for breakfast and they were awesome. I saw him delivering the day before and asked him if he would deliver to us the following morning. We also had firewood delivered as there is a little fire ring just out front on property in the sand. The beach is very family friendly and you step into the sand right off the main deck. The front area off the deck is like a private yard with a little fire ring, very nice. Horseback riding takes place on this beach and my family all went on a ride. We waved over Ricardo and he brought the horses right to the property line and off they went into the sunset! Once you come back from the beach there is an outside shower area on property with hot and cold water. Clay steps in sand that lead to the shower area. For a day at the beach their are Kayaks (2) beach chairs, lounge chairs for the family. Best of all is Linda the owner. VERY accommodating and is well liked!!! Everyone knows her and speaks very highly of her."

  • Earns the highest rating!

"The property is well-appointed and well-maintained. It had everything you'd ever need in the kitchen for a short stay. Not that you'd want to watch a lot of TV, but nights are quiet in the area and the DirectV all the HBO channels, Cinemax...a selection that surely exceeded expectations. The location is terrific, if a little bit of a drive into Ensenada. My advice would be to load up on groceries at Costco, WalMart, Soriana, Commercial Mexicana -- you pass all of them on the highway from Ensenada -- and use the CaliMax in Maneadero (you pass it at the turnoff toward La Bufadora), 15 min away, for anything you may have forgotten. The setting is so pleasant that you probably won't want to leave the area much. You will have the beach largely to yourself, and it's a nice beach for walking. In addition to the obvious attractions of La Bufadora and Ensenade, be sure to walk down to the hot sands close to where the turnoff (from the highway) to Punta Estero is; a hot spring under the beach warms the sand, and if you dig a couple inches down the water is very hot. Dig a big hole, blend in some sea water to cool it, and you have an interesting hot tub on the beach. Not a world-class attraction, but fun and unusual, cool for an half-day outing....probably even more so if you have kids who like to dig in sand. Highly recommend both the house and the location, and the owner Dede is a delight to deal with. AAA++"

  • Very satisfied with this house

"My family and I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights in November. The managers are very pleasant people. The views from the house are amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Like the description says, you can be as busy as want, (ride horses, ATV's, Fish with Vonny) or simply relax. I would definetly return."

  • Fabulous accomodations

"Loved our stay here last weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Lovely home, quiet beach, absolutely beautiful. Good internet. Bed is very comfortable (firm mattress). If you want to get away from everything and have peace and quiet as well as amazing beach views, this is it!"
