  • Property #417111

"A perfect size of home for the 2 of us, located right on the beach, watching/listening to the ocean waves from our living room window...tranquil and beautiful to take daily morning/afternoon walks along the sea. The owner was very helpful in answering any/all questions/concerns we had. One helpful knowledge would be to know in advance that there's a big clean market nearby (about 5 miles BEFORE getting to the beach house) to do grocery shopping. The owner was most helpful in every way."

  • Fantastic Beach Rental

"This property is really quite wonderful. It's very spacious, has gorgeous views, and has all the common conveniences you'd expect in Baja. As well, the owners are very kind, thoughtful, and honest. Will definitely consider returning."

  • wonderful stay in Punta Banda!

"Great location on the spit. Right on the beach, a nice gentle sloping beach with smallish waves. Good swimming beach (many Baja beaches are dangerous, not so here) but there are a couple surf breaks a short walk up or down the beach. House was great. Huge upstairs master bedroom + 2 others, 3 nice bathrooms, 2 balconies and big deck. Excellent parking. Great Views. Everything you could want including fast wireless internet, DirectTV, big, fully equipped kitchen. Owner, Linda, was fantastic: great communication and easy payment transactions. She took care of all our needs. Really an absolute pleasure and great place to say. Highly Recommended! 5 Stars."

  • Earns the highest rating!

"The property is well-appointed and well-maintained. It had everything you'd ever need in the kitchen for a short stay. Not that you'd want to watch a lot of TV, but nights are quiet in the area and the DirectV all the HBO channels, Cinemax...a selection that surely exceeded expectations. The location is terrific, if a little bit of a drive into Ensenada. My advice would be to load up on groceries at Costco, WalMart, Soriana, Commercial Mexicana -- you pass all of them on the highway from Ensenada -- and use the CaliMax in Maneadero (you pass it at the turnoff toward La Bufadora), 15 min away, for anything you may have forgotten. The setting is so pleasant that you probably won't want to leave the area much. You will have the beach largely to yourself, and it's a nice beach for walking. In addition to the obvious attractions of La Bufadora and Ensenade, be sure to walk down to the hot sands close to where the turnoff (from the highway) to Punta Estero is; a hot spring under the beach warms the sand, and if you dig a couple inches down the water is very hot. Dig a big hole, blend in some sea water to cool it, and you have an interesting hot tub on the beach. Not a world-class attraction, but fun and unusual, cool for an half-day outing....probably even more so if you have kids who like to dig in sand. Highly recommend both the house and the location, and the owner Dede is a delight to deal with. AAA++"
