  • Awesome place to stay!

"Stayed at Casa Bombero for an entire week and it was epic. The house is very spacious and is stocked with everything you need. The balcony has beautiful views and is a great place to relax. The kitchen, living, dining and entry way are combined spaces making for a very open space. The kitchen is stocked with a gas range has all the utensils and cooking stuff (pans, knives, oil, etc). It was all high quality stuff too. The living room is super chill with comfy couches to lounge and a nice TV to watch movies at night. There's even a library of surf movies and regular movies. If you're not into movies there's also lots of magazines (mostly surf) to browse through. I ended up watching 5'5 x 19 1/4, a classic Lost movie and a few other surf flicks. There's also wi-fi which worked well and was surprisingly fast. Note, Netflix, Pandora, or HBO doesn't work in Mexico. I was able to stream from Amazon though. The bedrooms are nice and both have king sized beds with ceiling fans and TVs. The master bedroom has a bathroom for two people while the other bathroom is smaller but no problem. There are plenty of towels and blankets. Bring your own beach towels or beach blankets though. The house has a good location with parking right in front and is close to the pool/hot-tub. It's a short walk to the beach and a shorter walk to check the surf. You can't see the main take off spot from the patio but you can certainly get a good idea of what the surf/tide is doing. On a side note, i like the board rack and outdoor shower. Overall, Casa Bombero is a really terrific place to stay for surfers or a small group of friends. Thanks so much for letting us stay here. I'd definitely stay here again and will probably be back!"

  • "What a fun and relaxing time we had in Baja! We loved the beachside pool and enjoyed lobster at nearby Puerto Nuevo. My wife went crazy shopping in Rosarito Beach and I just relaxed listening to the ocean. Eric's place provides everything - so it was just like home."

  • Wouldn't Stay Anywhere Else...

"Our group of three families traveled from southern California last week to stay in Primo Tapia for six luxurious days. All of our Jaws dropped as we walked into this home for the first time. This home is uniquely designed and offers something for everyone. We enjoyed body boarding on the medium/large waves, fishing in the provided canoe and relaxing in the hammocks. We had no issues with this property or the owner. As we arrived we received two welcome gifts and there were several people working to clean and maintain the property which we appreciated. We cannot say enough about the owner of the property and her ability to meet the needs of different groups and personalities. If you show her kindness and respect you will receive it in return. She refunded part of our payment even though it was unwarranted. We will never stay anywhere else, this house is a hidden gem."

  • Fantastic Beach Getaway

"I have stayed in Casa Vaughan a number of times and have yet to place a review. The house has always been perfect for any occasion. All that Rosarito has to offer is a short ride away. Yet, it is just enough of a ride to where you do not feel smothered by other vacationers, commotion, or nightlife. Both roads to the border and/or Tijuana are easily accessible from the house, and the beach in front is very inviting, clean, and surprisingly, has some good surfing. All of the appliances/accommodations in Casa Vaughan are modern and far beyond satisfactory. As I write this review, I eagerly anticipate my next Mexican sabbatical, and Casa Vaughan will surely be on the list of places to enjoy. Thanks Candis, have a great year. I'll be calling around the winter holidays :)"
