"We had a great time at this beautiful home. Lots of room for our large family. Everything but beach towels and bathing suits provided by our hosts. Thank you for making it so easy for us. We will be back soon."

  • A wonderful, relaxing place.

"I wish I had a better english vocabulary and writing skills to properly express how perfect we felt since we enter the house. Everything is there, all you need. The place is neat, clean, finely decorated, and wisely designed to enjoy the breathtaking views from the public area and balconies. We had the best of times in La Misión, the area has lots of places to visit, but believe it or not, we spent long periods of time just relaxing IN the house, enjoying the view from the balcony with the fresh sea breeze comforting us hour after hour. It was like a new honey moon for us. We were so grateful we chose this one, and is so much more than we expected... You can walk to the beach, or drive two minutes to La Fonda for happy hour, the Ruta del Vino is a few minutes away and Puerto Nuevo and Ensenada half an hour north and south. I would recommend this house to anybody. Rent it, you'll no be disappointed. All that without mention Antoinette, your manager. She lives next door, knows everything and is amazingly friendly and nice, she's another plus, one more reason to go back. We hope we will. Thank you Armando and Antoinette, we will always remember these wonderful days in your home!! Alejandro and Paula."

  • Amazing Experience! Will be coming back

"Great hospitality, went with a group of 10, and had a blast! Jesse the taxi driver took care of us when we left the house, showed us around and is good people. This house has a great view and the beach is only foot steps away. Very clean, pat and bob were on standby for any questions that we had. Overall great experience and highly recommended to stay a week or weekend here because I know me and my friends didn't want to leave!"

  • Earns the highest rating!

"The property is well-appointed and well-maintained. It had everything you'd ever need in the kitchen for a short stay. Not that you'd want to watch a lot of TV, but nights are quiet in the area and the DirectV all the HBO channels, Cinemax...a selection that surely exceeded expectations. The location is terrific, if a little bit of a drive into Ensenada. My advice would be to load up on groceries at Costco, WalMart, Soriana, Commercial Mexicana -- you pass all of them on the highway from Ensenada -- and use the CaliMax in Maneadero (you pass it at the turnoff toward La Bufadora), 15 min away, for anything you may have forgotten. The setting is so pleasant that you probably won't want to leave the area much. You will have the beach largely to yourself, and it's a nice beach for walking. In addition to the obvious attractions of La Bufadora and Ensenade, be sure to walk down to the hot sands close to where the turnoff (from the highway) to Punta Estero is; a hot spring under the beach warms the sand, and if you dig a couple inches down the water is very hot. Dig a big hole, blend in some sea water to cool it, and you have an interesting hot tub on the beach. Not a world-class attraction, but fun and unusual, cool for an half-day outing....probably even more so if you have kids who like to dig in sand. Highly recommend both the house and the location, and the owner Dede is a delight to deal with. AAA++"

Baja California Norte Travel Tips

Traveling to Baja California Norte Vacation Rentals

In the northwest corner of the Mexico is Baja California. It is bounded mainly by the states of Arizona and California, the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean on the west, and the Gulf of California on the east. The capital city is Mexicali and other major cities include Tijuana, Ensenada, San Felipe, Playas de Rosario and Tecate. The region comprises beaches, forests and deserts. One of the many reasons that Baja California Norte travel is so popular is the wonderful weather. The climate here is dry and hot, with a slightly more rainy winter.

The major airport here is Gen. Abelardo L Rodriguez in the hedonistic city of Tijuana. Traveling by car, visitors will also cross the border at Tijuana which is the largest border crossing in the world. Visitors coming into Mexico for more than seven days are required to have a tourist card and valid identification. Visitors will find the entire state, from its desert landscape to the stunning ocean, is accessible from Highway 1.

Secluded Beaches and Historic Sites Make a Perfect Location

Visitors to Baja California Norte resorts will find a starkly beautiful region, with beautiful, remote beaches, stunning mountains, and valleys laden with vineyards, incredible fields of boulders, historic missions and breathtaking desert landscapes. On the coastlines, visitors will enjoy discovering the wealth of remote sandy beaches where they can swim, dive, surf, fish, and perhaps take a trip to see the friendly grey whales. This is a region for adventurers and explorers, with little nightlife other than in the major towns of Ensenada and Tijuana.

A Variety of Wonderful Areas to Choose From

Visitors choosing Baja California Norte vacation rentals near San Felipe will enjoy this typical fishing village location with its broad beach that is ideal for swimming. The area is scattered with taco stands, bars and restaurants. Here visitors can buy local shrimp, straight from the sea, to take back to their vacation home for some great BBQ. It is also an ideal spot for sports fishing. A trip or home close to the Bahia de Los Angeles will be great for outdoor activities such as fishing, diving and boating. This warm, quiet bay is a tranquil spot to enjoy.

Baja California Norte resorts near Ensenada are perfect for those who want to be close to the town for shopping and nightlife, with sandy beaches and gentle waves to enjoy. This area is popular for surfing.

The inland areas of this region are becoming more tourist-friendly and the area is gloriously remote and undeveloped. Excursions to inland areas will reward visitors with beautiful scenery scattered with Spanish missions and stops to see the incredible boulder fields.

Baja California Norte travel for younger people looking for a party atmosphere should include Rosarito which especially popular during spring break.

Wine-lovers and those who enjoy stunning scenery may find the Valle De Guadalupe a great location. While not well known, Mexican wine is developing an excellent reputation and a tour of the wineries will be an enjoyable experience.

Choose a Perfect Home in a Perfect Location for a Perfect Vacation

There is no better way to experience this region than by renting your own home here. The benefits of this choice of accommodation include the freedom to relax in a beautiful home, full of those vital little extras that make a vacation special, and plenty of space to spread out.
