  • Home away from home and much more!!!

"Wow, if you want t enjoy a few days of Vacation, consider this beautiful house, and just pack your clothes, food, sunscreen and beverages, you won't need nothing else. Perfectly located away from the crowded Downtown San Felipe, very quiet, clean, safe community, two pools that are maintained daily, big guest house, tennis court, basketball. Awesome palapas, and aside from the fully furnished home, one of the BEST beaches in SF. I have rented this house twice before and probably will a few others, can't beat the price for tranquility, cleanliness and feeling safe. highly recommended."

  • Great place to stay

"I came here with my wife, our dog Diego, Nephew & sister for a relaxing weekend. Everything was great. From the filtered water to amazing surround sound entertainment system. The property is fantastic, even has an ocean view dog park! The house is very clean and functional. great art work through out the house even a very nice coffee maker. The only minor issure was the band width of the WIFI! we could not face time or Skype from the couch, had to go outside to get a stronger connection. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Great Little House

"Stayed just a couple of nights on the way home from Rosarito. We had to see what San Felipe was about. The house was more than adequate, comfortable even. Had everything needed for a short stay. Loved the Kiva fireplace. The location is a little out of town but that ensured that it was nice and quiet at night. We also enjoyed the table outside, in the evening, at least. We would like to come back sometime when the weather is milder. Would definitely recommend this house for a comfortable vacation."

Baja California Norte Travel Tips

Traveling to Baja California Norte Vacation Rentals

In the northwest corner of the Mexico is Baja California. It is bounded mainly by the states of Arizona and California, the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean on the west, and the Gulf of California on the east. The capital city is Mexicali and other major cities include Tijuana, Ensenada, San Felipe, Playas de Rosario and Tecate. The region comprises beaches, forests and deserts. One of the many reasons that Baja California Norte travel is so popular is the wonderful weather. The climate here is dry and hot, with a slightly more rainy winter.

The major airport here is Gen. Abelardo L Rodriguez in the hedonistic city of Tijuana. Traveling by car, visitors will also cross the border at Tijuana which is the largest border crossing in the world. Visitors coming into Mexico for more than seven days are required to have a tourist card and valid identification. Visitors will find the entire state, from its desert landscape to the stunning ocean, is accessible from Highway 1.

Secluded Beaches and Historic Sites Make a Perfect Location

Visitors to Baja California Norte resorts will find a starkly beautiful region, with beautiful, remote beaches, stunning mountains, and valleys laden with vineyards, incredible fields of boulders, historic missions and breathtaking desert landscapes. On the coastlines, visitors will enjoy discovering the wealth of remote sandy beaches where they can swim, dive, surf, fish, and perhaps take a trip to see the friendly grey whales. This is a region for adventurers and explorers, with little nightlife other than in the major towns of Ensenada and Tijuana.

A Variety of Wonderful Areas to Choose From

Visitors choosing Baja California Norte vacation rentals near San Felipe will enjoy this typical fishing village location with its broad beach that is ideal for swimming. The area is scattered with taco stands, bars and restaurants. Here visitors can buy local shrimp, straight from the sea, to take back to their vacation home for some great BBQ. It is also an ideal spot for sports fishing. A trip or home close to the Bahia de Los Angeles will be great for outdoor activities such as fishing, diving and boating. This warm, quiet bay is a tranquil spot to enjoy.

Baja California Norte resorts near Ensenada are perfect for those who want to be close to the town for shopping and nightlife, with sandy beaches and gentle waves to enjoy. This area is popular for surfing.

The inland areas of this region are becoming more tourist-friendly and the area is gloriously remote and undeveloped. Excursions to inland areas will reward visitors with beautiful scenery scattered with Spanish missions and stops to see the incredible boulder fields.

Baja California Norte travel for younger people looking for a party atmosphere should include Rosarito which especially popular during spring break.

Wine-lovers and those who enjoy stunning scenery may find the Valle De Guadalupe a great location. While not well known, Mexican wine is developing an excellent reputation and a tour of the wineries will be an enjoyable experience.
