  • BEST 30TH BDAY EVER!

"I still picture myself in the jacuzzi looking at the beautiful view. I had my birthday weekend celebration with friends and we're all still talking about the great time we had. My friends and i were blown away. The house is beautiful, every casitas is nice and cozy. The kitchen is where we spent a lot of time and when we had the caterers (thanks again for the poc lizzy) come over we enjoyed watching them cook that delicious food. I enjoyed the master bedroom and everything else in the house. The pictures don't give it justice. I definitely recommend this for everyone that's looking to spend time with family, friends and just enjoy a nice gateway. Lizzy is a wonderful person. From the first time i talked to her over the phone. Great communication, she always replied to emails immediately. She absolutely took care of me and my friends. I can't wait to go back. My friends and I are already planning our next vacation!!! Thanks Lizzy this was one of the best vacations ever!"

  • Weekend getaway

"This house is epic. The views from the balcony are spectacular. Surf is good. The private beach has a Volleyball court and plenty of space to lay out. We took advantage of the pool and the Jacuzzi which stays open till midnight. Tennis court is well kept. Bring your rackets if you're looking to play. Reservations can be made at the security gate. Gaviotas is very safe and quiet. Come prepared for a relaxing vacation."

  • Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

"If you want to escape from your problems, if you want to clear your mind, if you want to have great time with your closest friend(s), if you want to bring your kids of different ages and be happy with them, this is San Felipe, wonderful, safe, gated community sitting in the beach of Sea of Cortez. Whenever we come, winter time or summer time, we always enjoy to be there! Quiet, white beach sand, 2 swimming pools with underground 'organic' water, tennis court, excellent house having everything for comfortable staying including great kitchen, if we want to cook, eat or drink vine without going out. We usually bring food and vine with us in order do not loose any minutes to be there. Just came one time several years ago, we are returning back every year. We like to buy seafood in the pier of San Felipe downtown which is just from the sea! We love this place, just about 4-5 hours from San Diego by car on the great straightforward road!"

Baja California Norte Travel Tips

Traveling to Baja California Norte Vacation Rentals

In the northwest corner of the Mexico is Baja California. It is bounded mainly by the states of Arizona and California, the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean on the west, and the Gulf of California on the east. The capital city is Mexicali and other major cities include Tijuana, Ensenada, San Felipe, Playas de Rosario and Tecate. The region comprises beaches, forests and deserts. One of the many reasons that Baja California Norte travel is so popular is the wonderful weather. The climate here is dry and hot, with a slightly more rainy winter.

The major airport here is Gen. Abelardo L Rodriguez in the hedonistic city of Tijuana. Traveling by car, visitors will also cross the border at Tijuana which is the largest border crossing in the world. Visitors coming into Mexico for more than seven days are required to have a tourist card and valid identification. Visitors will find the entire state, from its desert landscape to the stunning ocean, is accessible from Highway 1.

Secluded Beaches and Historic Sites Make a Perfect Location

Visitors to Baja California Norte resorts will find a starkly beautiful region, with beautiful, remote beaches, stunning mountains, and valleys laden with vineyards, incredible fields of boulders, historic missions and breathtaking desert landscapes. On the coastlines, visitors will enjoy discovering the wealth of remote sandy beaches where they can swim, dive, surf, fish, and perhaps take a trip to see the friendly grey whales. This is a region for adventurers and explorers, with little nightlife other than in the major towns of Ensenada and Tijuana.

A Variety of Wonderful Areas to Choose From

Visitors choosing Baja California Norte vacation rentals near San Felipe will enjoy this typical fishing village location with its broad beach that is ideal for swimming. The area is scattered with taco stands, bars and restaurants. Here visitors can buy local shrimp, straight from the sea, to take back to their vacation home for some great BBQ. It is also an ideal spot for sports fishing. A trip or home close to the Bahia de Los Angeles will be great for outdoor activities such as fishing, diving and boating. This warm, quiet bay is a tranquil spot to enjoy.

Baja California Norte resorts near Ensenada are perfect for those who want to be close to the town for shopping and nightlife, with sandy beaches and gentle waves to enjoy. This area is popular for surfing.

The inland areas of this region are becoming more tourist-friendly and the area is gloriously remote and undeveloped. Excursions to inland areas will reward visitors with beautiful scenery scattered with Spanish missions and stops to see the incredible boulder fields.

Baja California Norte travel for younger people looking for a party atmosphere should include Rosarito which especially popular during spring break.

Wine-lovers and those who enjoy stunning scenery may find the Valle De Guadalupe a great location. While not well known, Mexican wine is developing an excellent reputation and a tour of the wineries will be an enjoyable experience.

Choose a Perfect Home in a Perfect Location for a Perfect Vacation

There is no better way to experience this region than by renting your own home here. The benefits of this choice of accommodation include the freedom to relax in a beautiful home, full of those vital little extras that make a vacation special, and plenty of space to spread out. Many properties welcome pets and cater specifically to children, with DVDs and games consoles available. With properties available across the region, vacationers will find an ideal property in whichever area they choose to base their trip. Whether it is a property close to the convenience of a town or a secluded beach-front property to spend hours enjoying the perfect weather, there is a property that is perfect for you.
