  • The Best in Cabo Pulmo!!

"Amazing! Spectacular! Met all our expectations and then some. The details are exquisite. Very clean and well maintained. The patio is home to all kinds of birds, butterflies and gorgeous plants. The beach is steps away and the snorkeling wonderful. Most of our time was spent sitting out enjoying the garden, reading, playing games and relaxing. It tends to be windy in the area, but the patio is sheltered from the wind. Property manager checked in frequently to answer questions and make sure we were comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom gorgeous. The best restaurant in town, El Caballero, is right across the street. Follow owner's advice and shop for groceries in San Jose del Cabo before driving out as there are no grocery stores in Pulmo. Get coffee, bakery goods, tortillas, cheese, beer/water/sodas, snacks, fruit. Would highly recommend this lovely casita to anyone; just don't book it during the time I want to return!!"

  • Beautiful Getaway

"We recently returned from a week-long vacation at the Cabo Pulmo Eco Palapas and had a fantastic time. We traveled with some close friends and stayed in the Eagle’s Nest unit, which gave us enough room and privacy to enjoy ourselves (we’ve taken many trips together so it’s all relative). The vantage point from the unit really can’t be beat - you have unspoiled views in all directions without another home in sight. The Eagles Nest unit takes full advantage of it’s location with huge windows covering the walls - it’s really breathtaking seeing the ocean and beach in the front and the desert and mountains in the back no matter where you are standing. The unit was simple, but had everything we needed to be comfortable. We cooked most of our meals there. When we went out for food, we kept going back to La Palapa (about a 10 minute drive to Cabo Pulmo main town) because it’s right on the beach and the food was really tasty and fresh. Good seafood! Staying here, you are just above the beach and it takes about a minute to walk down… if you’re looking for complete privacy and serenity, this is the place. We spent a lot of time on the beach and only saw one other person walking his dog the whole time we were there. There is an awesome cove toward the north end of the beach that has calm waters for swimming and some pretty awesome rock formations. If you go out there during low tide you can walk pretty far along the rocks without having to scale them, though that’s fun too. It’s a great place to take some food and drinks and hang out for the day. One day we took the kayak over which was a lot of fun. There is supposed to be some good snorkeling right off the beach but we ended up saving our snorkeling for places like Los Arbolitos (which you have to check out!). Bill was an awesome host and was super accommodating and excited to help us make the most of our vacation. Any question we had of him - of which there were many - he was enthusiastic to give us advice or directions. He pointed us to the best snorkeling, suggested we visit a hot springs (this place was a true oasis in the desert, about an hour from CPEP but well worth the drive), and even scheduled massages for us on our last day. We also enjoyed having his dog, Bay, around who was really friendly/well-mannered and would sometimes follow us and play on the beach. Overall, Bill really helped make our vacation memorable and hassle-free. For the price and excellent location, can't be beat!!!"

  • Wonderful!

"In mid December 2014, I stayed at Cremin's Hill Top House, a wonderful, peaceful cottage with a great view of the village and the bay. The interior is clean and well-equipped. There is a lot of attention to detail and everything looks charming. This is a very comfy, cozy, and romantic place. The shower is just phantastic. The area is safe and quiet. It's an easy 10 minute stroll to the rest of the village. Cremin is an excellent host who is very proactive and friendly. He even put signs with my name all over town so I could find him easily!"

  • Perfect hideaway

"Cabo Pulmo is our favorite vacation destination but before VRBO we had only been able to make day trips down there. El Encanto is my dream house. The entire place is surprising & wonderful but the kitchen & bathrooms were AMAZING! You will just wander around gasping until you've taken it all in. The A/C was nice but it ran off a generator and kicked off @ dawn. Although we didn't stay long enough to turn it on there is a TV & DVD player but no animated movies. The managers are pleasing and helpful~ they even sent a masseuse over to see if we were interested in a massage (60$ per hour), which we happily accepted while laying on her table outside one of the small casitas with the sun setting and the breeze blowing. The entire experience was lovely and we learned a valuable lesson, next time when we land at the airport in San Jose del Cabo we will be driving directly to El Encanto. Travel tip, go with plenty of cash & Tecate light. The stores, restaurants & dive shops in Cabo Pulmo are cash only (& it's a Corona/Modelo community) and the nearest bank is 50 miles away. We also have strong feelings for the Eco Adventures dive shop, the Castro brothers are friendly, informative & accommodating. I would also whole heartedly recommend Los Caballeros (not even a block away from El Encanto) I had the catch of the day and it was to die for~ they even fresh squeezed the juice for my cocktail (cup running over)."
