  • Terrific View

"We stayed in this wonderful condo in March 2015. The views of the city and Sea of Cortez are terrific and condo offers ample space. The beds are comfortable, couch was newer and great, and the kitchen table is in good shape. The best part of condo was the balcony with the views. The granite in the kitchen is nice. There is an opportunity to improve the kitchen with some updates on coffee maker and some nonglass dishware. The tile floors throughout were nice and in great shape. We liked the location because of the views it offers being up in the hills and access to the incredible neighborhood. The huge homes are great to drive around to see and you can play tennis($15/hour) and best of all you get access to the private neighborhood Pedegral beach. You can also get to the Marina very easily from the condo location. The pool and the grounds for the condo are well kept. The garage for our car was adequate as well. You are in the hills so you will do a bit of walking up and down stairs, but there is an elevator. Donna was great to work with on logistics and recommendations.. We had one issue with a power outage in the condo and Donna was very considerate. We rented a car which was fine for most part but Cabo is confusing to drive in with poor signs and GPS doesn't work well. But if you want to have the freedom to go to the beaches and Walmart etc then renting car is the way to go. But it is expensive in Mexico with the insurance and taxes. I would recommend going to the marina to negotiate a whale watching and Lovers beach visit and you can rent jet skis from Marina. There is no need to reserve these online as you will pay five times more. You can drive to the beaches to snorkel at Santa Maria and Chilleno but the signs from the road for Chilleno are not up so try your GPS. We also really enjoyed the fine dining both in town and also around the Marina. We will definitely come back to Cabo and recommend this condo for the price and location and what it offers."

  • Serenity Now!

"In a family of 20 people (ranging in age 6 months to 76 yrs), it may be hard to find some serenity now. But don't worry because you can find it in Casa Buena Vida. Our main activities were sitting on the deck reading, watching the Pacific Ocean go by filled with breaching whales, jumping ray fish, fishing boats and cruise ships. Of course this isn't the full list of activites, could it have been the pool table, the bag toss game or the pool and hot tub that were the best thing? But no... was it the beaches near by, late afternoon cocktail cruise or margaritas at Victor's. Or the hills in Pedegral that were great for jogging for all to keep in shape. Was it that every room has a spectacular view of the ocean that was so welcoming you felt like you were in your own home. Wrong again. It was definitely David the House Manager/Chef, his outstanding staff and Feliciano the cabana man that made our stay so enjoyable. From the cold beer and Margaritas to the meals that were so perfect. Hand made guacamole, salsa and chips. The beautiful surf and turf dinner for New Year's Eve so well prepared and presented. Our week at Buena Vida exceeded all of my expectations, would go back in a heartbeat. Run, don't walk to the nearest airport and come here!"

  • Perfect Vacation and Surprise Birthday Party for Papa!

"There were 19 of us in total! 11 adults and 8 children. 9 day stay. Perfect setting and lots of room for everyone to move around. Johnny and Graciella were fabulous as they fed us all our meals! Carlos was superb as the bartender and took such great care of the kids. Lots of milk shakes, smoothies and non-alcoholic fun! They could not wait for his arrival each day. Close to town, beach and all activities. Great vacation for all of us! Thanks to the staff and to Mark for all my questions over the last 9 months!"

  • Perfect spring break

"We had a wonderful spring break week at Monte Cristo Villas. All 3 generations enjoyed our time there. Our 2 granddaughters loved the flowers in the heated infinity pool everyday and the towel animals and flowers on their beds everyday. All 3 bedrooms had their own bathroom and a powder room upstairs gave everyone their own space and privacy. The kitchen was fully equipped and we made breakfast and lunch a few days. A heated hot tub outside the master bedroom was enjoyable too. We had beautiful views of the ocean from the 2 decks and of course the pool. We whale-watched everyday and were never disappointed. We can't wait to return because the villas are so elegant, comfortable, and met all our needs. We parked our rented mini-van in the carport for our villa, never had to wait for someone to retrieve our car. Each carport has the number of your villa so on it so the free parking is for your use during your stay, just outside your door. Food is great at all the properties as we chose to do all-inclusive for 3 days and could eat at all 4 properties. Wonderful breakfasts at the restaurant on site and we ate outside every morning."
