Wonderful House - Amazing View!
"Our group of 8 (2 families) stayed at Casa De Los Gatos in early June. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers. I honestly can't say enough great things about the house and our experience. The view is literally breathtaking! I loved siting out on our patio every morning with my coffee and just looking out at the water. The setup of the house worked perfectly for our group. There are three floors. The first floor has 2 bedrooms that were perfect for the teenagers and the third floor has the other two bedrooms for the adults. Three of the four bedrooms have a beautiful water view as well. The main floor has the living room, kitchen, and pool. The setup allowed us all to have privacy when we needed it but to be together on the main floor most of the time. The beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed. The house is in a beautiful and safe community.
Nancy and Tobi were both very responsive and helpful. We were originally scheduled to arrive during the middle of a tropical storm and had to change our trip plans last minute and they were both very understanding and accommodating. They also arranged our airport transfer for us and we had the house stocked with some food/drinks prior to our arrival. We did not use the chef services but I would do so next time. I would actually try to spend more time at the house just enjoying the pool/view than we did on this trip. It was a little hard with busy teenagers!
Because of the location of the home, you will have to take a taxi anywhere you go. We knew this but the cost of the taxis multiple times a day was more than we expected. I think it is just something for people to be aware of and to include in your vacation budget or to consider renting a car. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property and we would definitely stay here again!"

Beautiful and luxurious villa, perfect for our trip!
"We recently stayed at Villa Sebastian and loved it! As many have stated, the pictures don’t lie, this place is gorgeous. The pool/hot tub/grill area is perfect for sunny days and warm nights, and the kitchen has all high-quality cookware and appliances. The bedrooms are nicely outfitted and all three have access to a balcony. Air conditioning worked wonderfully, so it was pleasant for sleeping.
While the villa is located at one of the higher points of Pedregal, it offers stunning views in any direction and the homes seemed a bit more spread out so no noisy neighbors to deal with.
Ishmael, the property manager, was very helpful and came by to show us how to operate the spa and other important features. We also arranged for Cabo Chef Services to cook dinner the first night, and I would tell everyone to do the same. They will also do your grocery shopping for you, which you should take advantage of as there aren’t any big stores nearby.
Overall we loved our experience — it was much more peaceful than staying at a resort on Medano Beach. We felt like we were living in luxury for the week. Carolina was a dream to work with, as she replies to inquiries quickly and the payment method is professional and reassuring.
While I give this rental my highest possible recommendation, I do want to note a couple caveats:
- I will reiterate what everyone else has said -- the walk up and down the hill can be quite grueling. I am an avid runner and found myself out of breath walking up! It is a nice bit of exercise though, especially after eating such good food, plus you get some amazing views of the beach or downtown. I would say you most definitely cannot walk up or down at nighttime, as it is poorly lit and sometimes the sidewalks can be tricky (especially since many have a significant drop-off). Cabs up cost us usually $20.
- The Wifi in the house is pretty spotty. It really only seemed to work in the kitchen/dining/living area, and not very much by the pool or in the bedroom.
- The daily cleaning service is fantastic and they are very thorough, but they ARE there for approximately three hours, so every day from about 9am-12pm, we felt like we had to stay out of the way. Just a heads up!
Those small matters aside, I would definitely recommend this rental for any group of people looking for a private, relaxing vacation in Cabo. I spent weeks scouting out all the Pedregal rentals and am so pleased I ended up choosing this one."

"Our group of four guys stayed at the house for week long fishing trip in Cabo. We couldn't have asked for a nicer property and everyone we dealt with was helpful and always got back to us in a timely manner. I should say we didn't need to contact anyone during the stay as everything was already taken care of.
The house is in a great location a mile up the hill from the marina and made for some very nice sunrises and sunsets. There is a pool and outdoor bar area with a television. The TV was very nice b/c we were able to hook up our Apple TV and watch the Ohio State game. There is also a very nice patio area for lounging. Also, Kristen from the property management company had all the numbers in a book that we needed. Really we just needed cab numbers to get to and from town. She also put us in touch with a grocery delivery place so that we had beer and some food staples when we arrived. All the bedrooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. Can't say a bad thing about the rental, the owners or the property management company.
We did forget to tip the house cleaner but we were able to send the money via Paypal after we were back in the US.
We would definitely stay here again!"

"The margaritas on arrival were a very nice touch. The place was clean, the view beautiful. It was a little hike to get up the hill to this villa, but if you had eaten enough (and we always did!), then the hike was a good way to help burn off a full tummy. The kitchen was well supplied with needed utensils, but please renew your pottery:). We cooked a lot, so the kitchen worked well. Pool and hot tub were very nice - they heated up fast."
