  • Exceeded Expectations!!

"We've just returned home and we are still dreaming about our brief, 5 day (first time) trip to Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. We were there to celebrate my father's 70th birthday and in attendance included our parents, immediate children, along with 2 grandchildren. In all 9 guests. The Villa and staff more than exceeded our expectations and the pictures do not do the villa justice. The villa has gorgeous near unobstructed views of the Pacific (reminiscent of Santorini with building perched upon rocky cliffs). You'll enjoy sunrises AND sunsets. The villa is in great and clean condition for even the most discriminating customer. Ernesto (GM), Alejandro (chef), Derek, and their team (all fluent in English) were immediately available to fulfill your custom needs from amenities, activities, dining preferences, etc. They were easy to be in touch with (email, text message, call). They were the kindest people, couldn't be happier to serve their clients and would challenge even the best hotel staff. A few personal examples: our daughter was celebrating her 5th birthday and they had a personalized birthday cake along with balloons delivered. We had a variety of meals cooked for us, and upon preference, of Mexican origin however we enjoyed ceviche and sashimi one evening and steak on another. All the food cooked was restaurant quality. You simply have to advise what kind of meal you'd like and its prepared on premises to order. Once again - we would recommend the villa in a heartbeat."

  • Cabo Fun in Pedregal.

"Just returned from Cabo. The view from this unit is amazing. There is plenty of room in this condo for 4 people. Myself and husband occupied the unit during our stay, not sure if one bathroom would be enough for 6. The condo was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom. It is a nice, short retreat away from the hustle of downtown! Special thanks to Diana O, Kally J, Alvaro G, Omar and Joe of Cabo Property Managers. They get the job done! Diana and Kally were very patient, professional and helpful as they answered our numerous questions. Omar, Alvaro and Joe were hands-on and helpful in and around Portifino Condos. Monica, the owner of Penny Lane restaurant is as awesome as the food. There was enough food for us to enjoy breakfast the next morning! The only reason, I am not giving this rating 5 stars is the lack of a clothes dryer during our stay, the patio cushions are in need of repair and the white walls throughout the condo could use a fresh coat of paint. The location of the condo is in a gated community, manned by staff 24 hours/per day, we always felt safe in and around the condo. A rental car is a good idea if you plan to leave the city, check out Cactus car rental near the airport. Antonio Miranda (my hubby calls him San Antonio-for Saint Antonio:). He was great about delivering a rental to our condo when there was an issue with the tire of our original rental. Antonio promptly communicated with us and worked quickly to send another rental so we would not spend "down time" waiting for a replacement rental."

  • Wonderful Vacation

"My family and I have been traveling to Cabo for 8 years. We typically stay along the Corridor, and did so again for a week, but decided to stay in Pedregal for some extra nights at the tail-end of our vacation. The villa was amazing and had every amenity imaginable. Private beach, fitness club and spa, and easy access to town and great restaurants (including those at the former Cappella Resort) were added benefits. Both the owner, Leslie, and the property manager, Rocio, are top notch and were very responsive to requests. We highly recommend Casa Vista Hermosa and look forward to returning next year. P.S., our family includes young children (ages 8 and under) who equally enjoyed the villa!"

  • Terrific View

"We stayed in this wonderful condo in March 2015. The views of the city and Sea of Cortez are terrific and condo offers ample space. The beds are comfortable, couch was newer and great, and the kitchen table is in good shape. The best part of condo was the balcony with the views. The granite in the kitchen is nice. There is an opportunity to improve the kitchen with some updates on coffee maker and some nonglass dishware. The tile floors throughout were nice and in great shape. We liked the location because of the views it offers being up in the hills and access to the incredible neighborhood. The huge homes are great to drive around to see and you can play tennis($15/hour) and best of all you get access to the private neighborhood Pedegral beach. You can also get to the Marina very easily from the condo location. The pool and the grounds for the condo are well kept. The garage for our car was adequate as well. You are in the hills so you will do a bit of walking up and down stairs, but there is an elevator. Donna was great to work with on logistics and recommendations.. We had one issue with a power outage in the condo and Donna was very considerate. We rented a car which was fine for most part but Cabo is confusing to drive in with poor signs and GPS doesn't work well. But if you want to have the freedom to go to the beaches and Walmart etc then renting car is the way to go. But it is expensive in Mexico with the insurance and taxes. I would recommend going to the marina to negotiate a whale watching and Lovers beach visit and you can rent jet skis from Marina. There is no need to reserve these online as you will pay five times more. You can drive to the beaches to snorkel at Santa Maria and Chilleno but the signs from the road for Chilleno are not up so try your GPS. We also really enjoyed the fine dining both in town and also around the Marina. We will definitely come back to Cabo and recommend this condo for the price and location and what it offers."
