"We stayed in this wonderful condo in March 2015. The views of the city and Sea of Cortez are terrific and condo offers ample space. The beds are comfortable, couch was newer and great, and the kitchen table is in good shape. The best part of condo was the balcony with the views. The granite in the kitchen is nice. There is an opportunity to improve the kitchen with some updates on coffee maker and some nonglass dishware. The tile floors throughout were nice and in great shape.
We liked the location because of the views it offers being up in the hills and access to the incredible neighborhood. The huge homes are great to drive around to see and you can play tennis($15/hour) and best of all you get access to the private neighborhood Pedegral beach. You can also get to the Marina very easily from the condo location.
The pool and the grounds for the condo are well kept. The garage for our car was adequate as well. You are in the hills so you will do a bit of walking up and down stairs, but there is an elevator.
Donna was great to work with on logistics and recommendations.. We had one issue with a power outage in the condo and Donna was very considerate.
We rented a car which was fine for most part but Cabo is confusing to drive in with poor signs and GPS doesn't work well. But if you want to have the freedom to go to the beaches and Walmart etc then renting car is the way to go. But it is expensive in Mexico with the insurance and taxes.
I would recommend going to the marina to negotiate a whale watching and Lovers beach visit and you can rent jet skis from Marina. There is no need to reserve these online as you will pay five times more.
You can drive to the beaches to snorkel at Santa Maria and Chilleno but the signs from the road for Chilleno are not up so try your GPS. We also really enjoyed the fine dining both in town and also around the Marina.
We will definitely come back to Cabo and recommend this condo for the price and location and what it offers."

"I and 4 of my best friends visited Villa Kanga for a 4day, 3 night guys trip to Cabo. This villa is located in Pedregal (think of Pedregal like the Beverly Hills of Cabo). We knew the pictures looked great online, but the home was even more impressive in person (if that's even possible)! Everyone loved having their own room w/ their own private bathroom. Villa Kanga is equipped with the best of everything (from the appliances, to the AMAZING pool w/ swim-up bar (wine/beer fridge, etc), built-ins in each bedroom and more).
We had such a positive experience from the time of booking through our departure. Listed below are a few special thanks:
* Heather (the property manager) did a nice job of providing the guidance and the initial house walk-through. She was always available throughout our trip to guide us and answer any questions
* Victor helped provide a great experience through the welcome reception (including margaritas, chips, salsa, quesadillas) and aligning the chair massages. He and his family (mother and brother Julio) were very responsive and willing to help w/ anything that we needed.
*** Special story: unfortunately, our car was towed on Friday night (we did not realize that we parked in a no-parking area up the street from El Squid Roe). As you can imagine, we were very concerned and did not know how/where to locate our car and rectify the situation. Victor scheduled for his brother, Julio, to meet us @ Villa Kanga on Saturday morning. Julio personally drove us to the impound lot, helped work w/ the transit authorities and the tow truck company to get our car released. This type of service & responsiveness went way above & beyond the call of duty (and we truly appreciated his help).
* Mercedes was also very friendly and did a very nice job cleaning the home and making it appear in tip-top condition.
Fiona, thanks for opening up your beautiful Villa for us to enjoy. We will definitely visit again! If you are reading this view and planning to visit Cabo, then stop reading this now and immediately make your reservation (before someone else books your slot). It is that good!!!"

"From booking the villa with Caroline to receiving the security deposit back in quick time, the process was seamless. That's just to stay about management, staff of the villa was very hospitable.
The villa is gorgeous, we chose it for the unobstructed views of the Pacific as its furthest to the coast. Also the pool is a perfect size as we were 9 people. Was great to swim up to the tiki bar and have a drink made. We hired a chef for the weekend and everything was perfect. For the price and view, you cant beat it. .
I will acknowledge that there a few steps to getting around the property as bedrooms are on different levels. You will need a taxi/car to get around, but that goes for any property in Pedregal.
Thanks for an amazing stay! Would recommend to anybody!"

Beautiful and luxurious villa, perfect for our trip!
"We recently stayed at Villa Sebastian and loved it! As many have stated, the pictures don’t lie, this place is gorgeous. The pool/hot tub/grill area is perfect for sunny days and warm nights, and the kitchen has all high-quality cookware and appliances. The bedrooms are nicely outfitted and all three have access to a balcony. Air conditioning worked wonderfully, so it was pleasant for sleeping.
While the villa is located at one of the higher points of Pedregal, it offers stunning views in any direction and the homes seemed a bit more spread out so no noisy neighbors to deal with.
Ishmael, the property manager, was very helpful and came by to show us how to operate the spa and other important features. We also arranged for Cabo Chef Services to cook dinner the first night, and I would tell everyone to do the same. They will also do your grocery shopping for you, which you should take advantage of as there aren’t any big stores nearby.
Overall we loved our experience — it was much more peaceful than staying at a resort on Medano Beach. We felt like we were living in luxury for the week. Carolina was a dream to work with, as she replies to inquiries quickly and the payment method is professional and reassuring.
While I give this rental my highest possible recommendation, I do want to note a couple caveats:
- I will reiterate what everyone else has said -- the walk up and down the hill can be quite grueling. I am an avid runner and found myself out of breath walking up! It is a nice bit of exercise though, especially after eating such good food, plus you get some amazing views of the beach or downtown. I would say you most definitely cannot walk up or down at nighttime, as it is poorly lit and sometimes the sidewalks can be tricky (especially since many have a significant drop-off). Cabs up cost us usually $20.
- The Wifi in the house is pretty spotty. It really only seemed to work in the kitchen/dining/living area, and not very much by the pool or in the bedroom.
- The daily cleaning service is fantastic and they are very thorough, but they ARE there for approximately three hours, so every day from about 9am-12pm, we felt like we had to stay out of the way. Just a heads up!
Those small matters aside, I would definitely recommend this rental for any group of people looking for a private, relaxing vacation in Cabo. I spent weeks scouting out all the Pedregal rentals and am so pleased I ended up choosing this one."
