  • Superb villa with a fantastic view!

"We had a fantastic week at the villas. Both our concierge, Edgardo, and our housekeeper Iris were helpful and friendly and took care of all of our needs. The views from our villa were amazing and the house was wonderful. We spent much of the week swimming/wading poolside while taking in views of the Pacific ocean. We made our own food for much of the week after a stop at Costco and Walmart, and the kitchen and barbeque worked well for our needs (there were seven of us in all). As for the other Pueblo Bonita amenities, access to the beach at the Rose and Blanco resorts was nice for a change of pace. We went to the Sunset Beach resort pool, with a swim up bar, which was nice, but we ultimately preferred hanging out at our own pool at the villa. The ladies all seemed happy with their massages and facials from the resorts spa and I was happy with the state of the gyms (standard setup and kept very clean). I would definitely recommend this for families and groups. It would also be nice for couples, but I would guess that two or three people would leave a lot of unused space. As for the owners of this listing, Carol was very helpful, friendly and responsive and I would be happy to rent from her again. Best, Nick"

  • Wedding Week

"Arrived and there was a shuttle from the airport to the Resort. Check in was quick and easy. I was taken to my room and given some excellent info on how to get around the Resort. I was tired and choose room Service for dinner, which was quick and tasty. The Suite was gorgeous, view outstanding, more spacious than I anticipated. The Resort is very clean and service is excellent everywhere. Friendly employees, happy and fun. My communication with the Owner was mainly by email and sometimes by phone. He was so helpful and provided me with all the information regarding activities and restaurants in Cabo. I was there with a group, but felt very comfortable being on my own at times. Getting around was easy with the golf carts. The Spa is excellent, La Nao and Bistro restaurants very good. Lots of activities to enjoy, whaling watching a must. I would recommend this property for sure and look forward to going back."

  • Fabulous Cabo Vacation

"Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort was amazing. Our stay was perfect and just as described, the rooms very nice, beautiful views, good food and staff members very friendly and respectful. Have to say, the weather in Cabo is about as close to perfect as it comes. Everyday was in the mid 80's and very little humidity. Dealing with Jeff directly in renting his Jr. Suite was wonderful. Such a simple process and Jeff was great about providing extra details for this location and for first time VRBO renters. Watching the whales breaching 200 feet from the beach was something I didn't expect but a thrill beyond words. What a great place to vacation -- we will be going back! Thanks Jeff"

  • Amazing, once again, and Accessible!

"We have stayed in Leanne's rooms several times including January 2014 and now June 2014. Once again, it is amazing. I have written before about how Leanne's unit has more to offer than other units in the same hotel (-including ours which we let friends use so we can take Leanne's) but this time I wanted to add a few more compliments about the Rose and Leanne's unit. For this trip we came with three other families but our family was 2 parents, 4 kids and a 77 year old grandmother. Although we were worried the room would be crowded, it was perfect. The hotel put the beds together in the master to make a king and there was plenty of room for a rollaway bed for grandma. The boys took the couch and the girls had their own room and own bed. There are a lot of closets and storage in these rooms so we were able to tuck away all suitcases and clothes in closets and dressers. We had never brought grandma to the beach and we were wondering how it would go. The hotel gets an A+++ for accessibility and assistance. They have 'loaner' wheelchairs and we reserved one with the reservation. We were able to keep it for our entire 10 day stay. Leanne's room on the first floor was perfect. We kept the chair on the lanai at night and wheeled grandma to the restaurants and beach each day since it was a long walk. Every time we arrived with grandma a hotel employee (regardless of his assigned duties) was quick to offer a strong arm to help her up and walk her to her chair whether it was in the restaurant or on the beach. We parked the chair in the shade by the bar and it was always waiting when we needed it. Leanne's large patio/lanai was a perfect meeting place for our large group to get together before heading out to dinners or activities. It was a great meeting place that could accommodate everyone. The rooms were nicely decorated and Leanne has added extras that other rooms do not have: upgraded coffee pot, Stereo/CD player in each room, etc. As I mentioned in a previous review, her rooms are in such great condition and do not show the normal wear-and-tear that other rooms may show. A few tips: Bring coffee and a few cone coffee filters; if you like to play in the ocean bring inflatable tubes for kids and adults; we also bring our $ in lots of small bills for tipping and shopping. If you have a large group, make reservations in the restaurants. They are happy to accommodate groups. This is an excellent hotel and great deal!"
