  • Whales, surf, fishing, relaxation, walks along the beach, fabulous estate property

"You want someplace "special" when you're celebrating 45 years of marriage and the first birthday of a grandson. We found just that at Cocina Pacifica. The property is near enough to Cabo to make arrival easy--we had 12 adults and a baby arriving from 4 different locations, with one couple driving down Baja and the others flying in. The hacienda is magnificent--planned so well that the oceanfront patio is fantastic (sat there watching whales for hours, moved to poolside patio on other side of home when wind came up), cooked in well-stocked inside kitchen and prepped meats on patio BBQ. Each couple had their own bedroom with private bath. Owner most accommodating for referrals for dining out, masseuse who comes to property, airport transport, errands if needed. The Portuguese water dog, Sofia, is equally a treat, eager to visit. Well furnished, with plenty of towels. Quality décor. We surfed locally and fished directly in front of home. NO crowds around--just blissful solitude and beauty. Plenty of lounges on both patios to offer spots to all be together or not! Short drive to Todos Santos for shopping and a lovely lunch. Absolutely reasonable for quality, including maid and gardener service. 5 stars aren't enough--we're going back! Wifi included along with fishing poles and boogie boards; they missed nothing..."

  • Treated like family!

"Josefina picked us up from the airport. She was very friendly, treated us like family. Told us about all the sites along the way to Cabo and things to do in Cabo. The place was very clean, well maintained, and the pictures and description were totally accurate. All the action was within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Mango Deck and the Booze Cruise. Josefina also took us back to the airport. Overall an excellent time and would definitely recommend this property."

  • Awesome house, great location and great price!

"I stayed in Casa Mario a month ago with 8 of my girlfriends. We were considering staying in a hotel, but I'm glad we didn't! The house is big enough for a family of a big group of friends. We enjoyed having the pool for ourselves and we were able to walk to the Marina and some other places where restaurants and bars are. The house is right next to Nikki Beach and just a few blocks from other beach clubs and beach restaurants like Mango Deck and The Office. Close enough to walk, yet far enough that is nice and quiet. Tim, the owner, was great! He gave us a lot of recommendations on restaurants and things to do and he really keeps the house in great shape, with all the necessary amenities (including Wi-Fi and AC). A really nice cleaning lady came to clean the house everyday too. In general, Casa Mario was much better than staying in a hotel! Great for young people looking to have fun, but also great for families that are looking for convenience and easy access to the beach."

  • Affordable luxury in an impeccably maintained condo

"If you believe the media in the US, Cabo San Lucas was destroyed by Hurricane Odile with looters and lawlessness to follow; and while it may have seemed dire those first days following the storm, the people of Los Cabos have punched back with a vengeance. The marina in Cabo San Lucas is as beautiful and as full of gorgeous boats as ever (this is my 13th visit to Cabo) and the shops, restaurants and people of Cabo are as welcoming and friendly as always. If you have a trip planned to visit Cabo and are thinking you need to change those plans because of the hurricane, let me tell you - DON'T! Not only is downtown Cabo up and running, but this condo is an impeccably maintained, beautifully decorated and appointed gem within an easy walk of Medano Beach. You will be 300 yards from one of the most beautiful beaches in Los Cabos. The owners and the staff who help their guests (Hugo, the concierge and Oswaldo, airport transportation) will make you feel like celebrity VIPs. After your day of water activities or just lounging around at The Office or one of the many other bars/restaurants (yes, they're all open), you can return home to a modern, fully furnished condo with your own private rooftop Jacuzzi. The pictures on VRBO don't do it justice - this condo is large (inside and out), state-of-the-art, comfortable and a real bargain! 46 5-star ratings can't be wrong and you would never know there was a hurricane within 100 miles of this condo! Let the people of Cabo show you how hard they've worked to recover - you'll be amazed. They rely on tourists for their economic survival and they will not disappoint you!"
