  • Perfect

"We had a wonderful time staying in this rental. The accommodations were beautiful. It was a perfect set-up for 2 couples like we were. There was plenty of privacy - one bedroom on each side with the living room and kitchen in the middle. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The deck is large and very nice it looks over the pool area and ocean. We got the nice morning sun and by evening we had shade on the deck which was nice after being in the hot sun all day. Location of this condo is wonderful. It is easy enough to walk down the beach to the Marina or stopping along the way at many different bars and restaurants. We also took a cab into town many evenings for just $9. It was nice having a grocery store on site. It was more expensive than Walmart but it certainly was easy to get to. The restaurants on site at Villa La Estancia and the two sister resorts were very good. We found many wonderful restaurants in Cabo. We had a fabulous time. It was great dealing with Terry. He is very reachable for any questions you might have. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family and we hope to return some day."

  • Wonderful vacation

"This was our second year visiting Villa La Estancia and it was just as great as last year. The staff are wonderful (concierge, bellboys and Vickie, our maid). All facilities are clean and modern and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Our family joined us and all enjoyed our time together. The couch was uncomfortable for sleeping so we solved it by buying a blowup mattress at Walmart. Only two disappointing issues: no barbecue grill or pans for oven cooking. Days were pleasantly warm and evenings cool. We plan to be back next year!"

  • Villa La Estancia- Great Rental

"Just returned from a week at Villa La Estancia and had a great week. Would recommend Villa La Estancia and Cabo Rentals by Jane. Jane and Chris were very responsive both with my initial request through booking and follow up after. They were very easy to work. The villa was great, tons of room for 5 of us. It was even nicer than we expected. The staff and facilities at Villa are great. The property was immaculate. I would recommend a visit to the spa, wonderful! This property is a nice balance as is walking distance to all of the action, but you don't have all of the constant noise of the bars etc. Great location."

  • Fantastic with older kids

"The combo of spring break in Cabo and staying at this top floor villa was perfect. We have been to other areas of Mexico with our children (14, 13 and 10), and by far, Cabo felt the safest and most welcoming. Two large bedrooms were fantastic for kids. Our youngest opted to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room. The balcony is the most amazing part of this unit. The view is gorgeous (it is the main photo for this listing). There are two lounge chairs that were the most coveted seats for our family. The breezes that you get up there, particularly later in the afternoon and evening, were wonderful. Every time that we were in the condo (breakfast, showering, happy hour), we were all out on the balcony that extends from the master, to the living, to the guest room. It runs the full length of the condo. We spent some time on the balcony watching our kids in the pool. You couldn't do that with younger ones, but ours were fine. We had friends stay the Palmar and thought the properties were very, very different. The Palmar had tons of little kids, looked super crowded around the pool, and everything was super wet. Estancia's pool area is beautifully landscaped, and chairs are set up in different areas, which ends up offering much more privacy and a luxury feel to the property. Our friends from Palmar came into our property several times, but NOTE they cannot bring in their towels from the other properties. That is a huge red flag and the pool manager will tell them they need to go up and register as a guest on your account. It took about 5 minutes to do this, no big deal. We bought breakfast food from Walmart (simple, easy trip), usually ate lunch at the pool and then went into Cabo for dinners. The beach is considered "non-swimming" but we swam. My impression is that basically from Estancia to the east, the waves/undertow were too dangerous to swim. However, from Estancia to the west (to Lands End), it was safer and super fun. For the first 3 days we were there, the waves were huge (some about 10'). My kids and I went out into the swimming area with other avid beachgoers and had a ball. You just had to pay attention to where you were in relation to where the waves were breaking. The beach is steep, and within a handful of steps into the water, you are over your head. For our entire week stay, the "red" do-not-swim flag was posted at Estancia. However, no-one stops you."
