"We had 8 of us girls stay for 6 days. The condo is exactly as pictured. Having 3 bathrooms with 8 women was awesome. The grounds, pool, beach front and restaurants were outstanding. We had to the best server by the pool, Jorge, who take care of us all week! 15 minute walk to town or a taxi ride for about $2/person. The 3 resorts are in one gated community - even taxi drivers have to check-in and out with the gate keeper and have a room number. We also went to the The Desert Spa at Del Arco. Needless to say, after we went on Monday - we scheduled another round for Wednesday. Highly recommend the spa and the staff was great - very accommodating with so many of us. Definitely would go back!"

"Upon arrival we were very impressed to find a beautiful apartment on the ground floor. Every room was very clean, well furnished with all the amenities. The arrival was easy because we had booked the transportation arrangement proposed by the owner. The check in was also quick and efficient, everything was ready for us. Our stay was fantastic. The grounds of La Estancia are beautiful, gardeners are working constantly. There are plenty of chairs around the pool with as many towels as one wants! The pool and whirlpools are warm and very clean and service is superb.I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to spoil him/her self for a week or two! We did not rent a car but used local transportation and taxis to go around and buy groceries at Wallmart. We ate in all the restaurants and they were all good but we loved the ones with an ocean view."

"Wow, I don't really know where to start. My family and I arrived after Christmas and it was just breathtaking. Kris's unit has a beautiful view of the ocean and pools. The resort is truly top-of-the-line in every way: friendly, helpful, fast service, and great amenities: multiple pools, hot tubs, swim-up bar, restaurant, room service, PRIVATE BEACH, and a great tourism desk. You will not be disappointed. The location is great too. You can walk up the beach and even into to town, or just take a short cab ride... it's nice to be close to town but also far enough away that it's quiet and you have nothing but the ocean to take in."

"I rented this condo for my family of 4 for a spring break trip with 7 other families. We all stayed at La Estancia and I have to say this was one of the nicest units we've rented from via VRBO (have used VRBO in Breckenridge and Orlando). The property manager was very easy to deal with and responded to a couple small questions I had during the week stay. Given we were there in the heart of spring break, there were lots of spring breakers on the beach and at other properties, but the clientele at La Estancia was definitely quieter and respectful of each other, no complaints about loud noise, etc...as management kept tight control on later evening noise. The unit was very nice, photos do it complete justice. The only small complaint I'd have was the dishes were kind of sparse in terms of containers for left overs but we managed as we did eat in quite a bit. All the staff at the condo were first class that we dealt with. The pool food was very good but a tad pricey. Walmart was perfect for grocery shopping but we also did get a couple things at the on-site market which was convenient. The city bus/taxi's were prevalent. Bus to downtown was 12 pesos or $1 USD and there were tons right at the entrance of the property. Free Wifi in the unit worked very well most of the time, I only had to reset the router in the master bedroom a couple times and there was free Wifi down by the pool as well that worked pretty well. That was nice to have so I could keep an eye on work emails. One of the couples sat through a timeshare presentation for the newer unit next door, but there was no high-pressure people around. I think we were approached once at the beginning of our visit and just said we weren't interested. We will definitely be back to the Estancia and I'd love it if we could get this unit again...very pleased overall with the value for our $."
