  • Wonderful Experience in Cabo

    jmot

"My stock request for accommodation asked about the availability of condos. Steve the owner replied it is house not a condo. It is indeed a wonderful detached house and Steve was the consummate host both prior to our departure and even while we were there. He even facilitated a poolside massage on my wife's birthday. The house is perfect for a vacation, the private pool with outdoor speakers really makes it special as do the views over the Sea of Cortez (we saw whales most days and even a pod of dolphins). One feels secure, the beach access and the access to the small group of houses is gated. It is located on 'corridor' between two extremes of Cabo San Lucas (party town), and Cabo San Jose (quiet family town) town with easy access to either. We rented a car which made life a lot easier. Both bedrooms and living room have amazing views, the kitchen is well equipped and we grilled on the outside barbecue if we didn't eat out. If you rent this accommodation, and I would recommend it to anyone, don't forget to ask Steve to share his local knowledge email!"

  • Beautiful condo with a great location

"We highly recommend this place if it suits your needs. We have a 2 year old and there was enough space for the three of us. It’s good option to avoid the big crowds in Cabo. The apartment is really nice in a quiet development on the outskirts of Cabo San Lucas. The place was recently remodeled and was really well done: new appliances, high end kitchen and bath and nice decorations. The condo has a cozy feel. The owners take very good care of the place, so it doesn’t feel like a rental. The patio has an amazing view of the ocean and is right in front of one of the two pools (the one with a bar). Both pools are very nice. There is a beautiful, small, secluded beach just a few minutes’ walk from the condo. The condo has everything you could need. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for those who like to cook. They have a beach umbrella and beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels. There is hammock for the patio and two really comfy lounge chairs. We recommend renting a car because the place is a few minutes outside of town, plus the Cabo area is best explored by car. When arriving for the first time, follow the owner’s directions closely. When we were there the Misiones del Cabo sign was partially covered by palm leaves. So, it’s easy to miss the turn the first time. Playa El Chileno and Playa Santa Maria (two of the best beaches in our opinion) are just a few minutes’ drive from the condo. Definitely catch a sunset from the Sunset da Mona Lisa restaurant next door. This condo is really nice and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Thanks Connie!"

  • Better than advertised

    Sam W

"There simply isn't a better place to stay in Cabo San Lucas. The community in and around Misiones has the laid back, relaxed feel of what I imagine Cabo once was. The view from the Condo is spectacular, a short 50 yard walk to a world class restaurant Sunset Da Mona Lisa which also has an informal pizza and wine bar up top. The days we went into Cabo we either took a short taxi ride or, as we preferred, we walked down to the main road to catch a bus for a little less than a US dollar. On the bus we enjoyed interacting with the locals and learning where to go for the best activities and local dining. The cove nearby is perfect for snorkeling, with schools of vibrant fish. Most afternoons/evenings we'd find ourselves down by the pool enjoying a drink and a taco from the bar while visiting with our fellow travelers and new friends. We will be going back to Cabo but will have to plan around availability of Bob's Casa, to stay anywhere else would be a let down."
