"My recent vacation to Cabo and staying at this villa at Esperanza was an amazing experience. The rental process was a seamless transaction. The resort staff are first class! A true gem of a property with all of the amenities you could ever ask for. I'll be returning!"

"My husband and I stayed at Nancy and John's condo for a week. We had a great time and the condo was perfect for our needs! It is very clean and the views from the sixth floor patio are AWESOME! Watching the whales every morning was fantastic! We did not need or use the air conditioner as we kept the patio doors open 24/7! And, we fell asleep every night to the waves hitting the rocks and shore. We also did not need the TV, even though there are MANY stations you can watch, as we sat on the patio every night enjoying the views and lovely breezes. It's also nice having a water purification system at the condo and washer/dryer. The resort itself is very lovely too, and you really can't tell there was a hurricane there a few months back! The beach was nice and the pool too. We ate at Sunset point(above Sunset da la Mona Lisa) and Puerta Vieja and enjoyed both those restaurants. They are within walking distance from the property. We did rent a car and are glad we did, as it is much easier to get around the area with. We also went to Todos Santos and San Jose for a day each. It is very easy to get around.
Thank you Nancy for opening your home to us! You were very wonderful to work with and it was a joy to be able to stay in your home!"

"Casa Esperanza is truly magical. The pictures just don’t do it justice. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are on vacation. The view is incredible, you can see whales breaching right from the patio while sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktail. As soon as we arrived the little ones were playing in the pool –perfect for all ages with zero entry for the little ones and enough space for the older kids & adults to swim all day. An extra bonus swim up bar so they don’t even have to get out for food or drinks. Baruch arranged a delicious Mexican meal to be cooked at the house upon arrival, had the kitchen pre-stocked for us, and massages outside at sunset with the ocean breeze and sound of crashing waves. So great that we had the chef & masseuse come back a second time during our visit. A perfect way to start our relaxing vacation before falling asleep in the heavenly beds. Everything about our visit was perfection. We specifically loved access to the Esperanza resort amenities – nearby Punta Ballena Beach Club is a short 5 min walk or golf cart ride away with breathtaking views of waves crashing on the rocks and Lands End in the background. We ventured there for morning workouts at the gym or early afternoon drinks and dinner while the kids played in the pool. We also took advantage of Las Estrellas which is a 10 min walk away. They have great daily work out classes (yoga with Blanca was a favorite), and delicious breakfast. We spent several days and relaxed by the giant pools while the kids swam and did the kids club from 11am – 1pm (incl. piñata party, stand up paddleboard, blow up waterslide & water balloon fight). At night we enjoyed roasting marshmallows back at our fire pit and had wonderful dinners out arranged by Baruch (Sunset Da Mona Lisa & El Farrallon). If you need a babysitting service, Diana of BajaBabysitting, is responsible, conscientious, and the kids loved her! And Rosie is an absolute gem – she took care of all of us by keeping the house clean & comfortable. All around this is one of the best vacations we’ve ever had and we’re ready to book our return trip."

"We've been home for a couple of weeks, yet the joy and beauty of our week at Villa Vista Ballena are still palpable. What a magnificent home and property. It's rare for seasoned travelers to find somewhere that exceeds their expectations, but this is the place where that happened for each of the three generations of my family.
We loved every minute. The home is exquisite; the views and whale sightings are storybook; and the weather is ideal. For the golfers, the swimmers, the fishermen, the horseback riders, the sunworshippers, the hikers, the readers, there was something for each of us.
We were so well taken care of by Sergio and Edith and really enjoyed getting to know them and their beautiful family. Some of us are still dreaming of that fresh salsa and all the delicious treats prepared for us daily.
Warning: the desire to take photos is constant. We are very glad we have them now as they will allow us the pleasure of reliving one of our most terrific family vacations ever. Thank you!"
