  • Great, Quiet stay

"We had a great month here! I really wish we had found this years ago. We have been doing timeshares for the last 20+ years and enjoyed this so much more and for a much better price! The room is older and does show some age, but nothing that diminished our stay, just some minor cosmetics. I understand from Ed that they will be doing some remodeling later in the year. Some of the things we liked: Plenty of space for the two of us. We used the bedroom in the back for sleeping, as it kept the morning sun off us to sleep better. The bedroom off the deck was the changing room as it was next to the bathroom with the walk in shower. Plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. Kitchen had plenty of cooking space with an island table for prep work and eating. The living room had 2 couches and a chair with a coffee table. One couch pulls out for a sleeper bed, did not try it though. Very good sized deck with Gas and charcoal BBQ. Table with 4 deck chairs and 2 lounge chairs. Morning sun only until around 11a. Medium sized flat screen TV with US Dish network. Had 4 east and 4 west coast networks, but that went away just before we left. Ed said he was working on getting something back soon, but not sure what or when . Also has DVR to record shows you might want to watch later. Very strong wireless internet connection. Was able to run my tablet, and my Roku 3 device at same time with no buffering. Also a phone with Magic Jack for USA calls as well as a local phone for calling around town. Older but Very usable appliances. 4 burner stove with oven, full sized refrigerator both worked very well. Newer microwave and all smaller appliances we needed. Plenty of dishes, glasses and cups. Washer and dryer was very nice with the longer stay. Very quiet resort, we never had a problem with noise. Transportation issues as the Taxi Banditos just raised their rates. They wanted 10-15 dollars to Costco and Walmart, 20-25 dollars into town. You can walk up the road to catch collectivo busses into town for about a dollar per person. Busses quit around 10p so if you are out late you will need to plan on a cab. A rental car would probably pay off if you plan on going into town much. Nice pool area with plenty of sun. Nice pool bar with good, inexpensive food and good drinks. Beach chairs, umbrellas and some snorkel gear if you want to go to the beach. Sandy beach, but rocky once you are into the water. Any problems with the unit, Ed is in the Resort and just a phone call away."

  • Perfect House for a Family with kids

"This was our third time in Cabo this time of year and we have stayed in different houses in Esperanza. We LOVED the house, the layout, and their housekeeper, Letecia. What we liked best about this house turned out to be the pool was on the bottom floor and the top floor had beautiful decks and terraces. This way we took advantage of the whole house, giving us so much more room for our family (8 adults (married kids), 1 nanny, and three children under 2) and we never had to worry about the kids and the pool. In the past the other floor we only used as bedrooms. The spacious, comfortably and lovely furnished home was easy to relax in while feeling pampered at the same time. Letecia was so accommodating and it was a perk that she cooked for us one night and would pick up a few things since we didn't have a car. We also like the ability to use the Esperanza resort. Irene, the owner, was very helpful and attentive to ensure our trip was special and perfect. We all hated to leave this paradise to return to reality."

  • Vacation of a Lifetime!

"Our family spent Spring Break 2014 at Villa de la Fuente! It was a trip that our children will never forget as the best vacation ever. The house exceeded our expectations. Each room had its own bathroom and were all very comfortable complete with air conditioning and ceiling fans. All furnishings were exquisite. I'm not going to lie - I might copy some of that style. My favorite was the separate master bedroom off the back of the house. The kids loved that their rooms were off the main house and poolside. The kitchen and bar area were top notch and the place of many meals (and margaritas!). We watched whales in the Sea of Cortez just on the patio while swimming in the beautiful infinity pool. The kids spent hours swimming. We also visited the ocean front pool at the rec center and enjoyed walking the beach/rocks/tide pools several times. We loved the firepit and the outdoor barbeque as well. The owners provided us with recommendations for food, which we tried many. Our favorite was The Hacienda! The house is centrally located so just a short drive 5 minutes and you're in downtown Cabos! We went there several times to enjoy the marina and shopping. We also went to San Jose Del Cabos which has wonderful art district where we purchased a gorgeous piece. We also visited several beaches Pamilla, Chilleno, Lovers Beach under the arch and of course, Medano Beach! All were fabulous! One of our trip highlights was going out to Cerritos, body surfing. I must mention how warm and friendly the gate staff were. We felt completely safe. It was such a spectacular home, impressive really. We had the time of our lives! It is my new "happy" place. Thank you."

  • Company and Family Outing

"I sponsored a company outing for my key staff members this past March and everyone is still talking about the experience. We highly recommend having items purchased and brought to the house so that we you arrive you can begin relaxing. The house was more than we expected and the Staff there to assist you was 5 Star. We are planning another trip for next March 2015 already."
