  • Oasis in Cabo

"We recently stayed in this beautiful estate home with amazing views of the Sea of Cortez and easy access to the private beach. Condition of the home was immaculate - including very spacious eating and entertainment areas, a lovely master bedroom, and four casitas - each with their own bathroom - surrounded by a quaint courtyard. Gardens were gorgeous and the infinity pool was perfect. One of our best trips to Cabo in years. Owner is easy to deal with and the concierge had the home ready for our visit. No way to make our stay in this home more perfect."

"This home has the best view of the ocean along with all the wonderful ocean sounds. It was the most beautiful stay in my life. I will definitely return maybe sooner then later! Thank you for a great vacation home away from home"

"I would like to begin by saying this vacation condo turned out to be a "dream" for us in all aspects. Were do I start? We felt safe coming and going, the security was friendly and visible. There are no dark spots so to speak and i know there are others out there like me who wonder prior to arriving in any Mexican location if they should safeguard everything. I quickly realized i was in a good spot here.... I loved the view from our balcony, the whales, the boats, the white water, the sounds of birds, the pools, the friendly staff and the others visiting. It was easy to tell people re relaxed when they are here because it was so easy to chat with others. The bedrooms are large and if you have two families sharing this accommodation it is nice to know that you are separated and very private and very quiet. I know when we awoke in the morning we had no idea if the others that joined us were up or not......not for a second until we opened the door and walked out into the main living area. I also love the proximity to Cabo....just a quick ride into town for groceries, a meal out or few drinks. This may seem unimportant however knowing you are safe and yet knowing in minutes you can be at a great restaurant is very attractive for us. I also loved that we could wander down the path and through a gate and be walking in sand in seconds. we walked both directions and they offered different views and experiences...this was awesome. In conclusion i know we would love to return to Mi Casa Del Sol. Look no further. Book it!"

  • Great, Quiet stay

"We had a great month here! I really wish we had found this years ago. We have been doing timeshares for the last 20+ years and enjoyed this so much more and for a much better price! The room is older and does show some age, but nothing that diminished our stay, just some minor cosmetics. I understand from Ed that they will be doing some remodeling later in the year. Some of the things we liked: Plenty of space for the two of us. We used the bedroom in the back for sleeping, as it kept the morning sun off us to sleep better. The bedroom off the deck was the changing room as it was next to the bathroom with the walk in shower. Plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. Kitchen had plenty of cooking space with an island table for prep work and eating. The living room had 2 couches and a chair with a coffee table. One couch pulls out for a sleeper bed, did not try it though. Very good sized deck with Gas and charcoal BBQ. Table with 4 deck chairs and 2 lounge chairs. Morning sun only until around 11a. Medium sized flat screen TV with US Dish network. Had 4 east and 4 west coast networks, but that went away just before we left. Ed said he was working on getting something back soon, but not sure what or when . Also has DVR to record shows you might want to watch later. Very strong wireless internet connection. Was able to run my tablet, and my Roku 3 device at same time with no buffering. Also a phone with Magic Jack for USA calls as well as a local phone for calling around town. Older but Very usable appliances. 4 burner stove with oven, full sized refrigerator both worked very well. Newer microwave and all smaller appliances we needed. Plenty of dishes, glasses and cups. Washer and dryer was very nice with the longer stay. Very quiet resort, we never had a problem with noise. Transportation issues as the Taxi Banditos just raised their rates. They wanted 10-15 dollars to Costco and Walmart, 20-25 dollars into town. You can walk up the road to catch collectivo busses into town for about a dollar per person. Busses quit around 10p so if you are out late you will need to plan on a cab. A rental car would probably pay off if you plan on going into town much. Nice pool area with plenty of sun. Nice pool bar with good, inexpensive food and good drinks. Beach chairs, umbrellas and some snorkel gear if you want to go to the beach. Sandy beach, but rocky once you are into the water. Any problems with the unit, Ed is in the Resort and just a phone call away."
