  • Wonderful vacation just before Alaskan Winter

"My husband and I spent 18 wonderful days in October 2013 at Casa Dl Mar in this unit. Zev, the property manager was very easy to work with and accommodating with changing plans as we made airline reservations quite a bit in advance. The accommodations were just right for two people, but can accommodate more with the two beds. The resort is beautiful, clean and inviting. The kitchen accommodations were compact but very workable. We like to cook so the large refrigerator was great after a shopping trip in San Jose del Cabo. We took long walks in the early morning and early evening. The weather was beautiful, which was rare for October. It had rained a couple of weeks before we came and the landscape all the way to La Paz was green and lush with blooming foliage. Casa Del Mar is a great jumping off point for day trips, which for us included La Paz and Todos Santos, a lovely artist and surfing destination on the Pacific Ocean side. We had a wonderful experience at Case Del Mar shortly before departing. The resort harvest’s turtle eggs and incubates them for hatching so that predators do not dig them up. One evening at dusk the hotel staff, trained to handle baby turtles, were releasing a couple hundred turtles to the ocean. This is done at dust to assure that birds and other predators are not around. The resort guests were able to watch the release and take pictures of it. All of the turtles made it to the ocean with our encouragement. It was quite the experience. We hope to return soon."

  • loved the Sunset Penthouse , it is huge and has everything

"went with 3 girlfriends for a 4 night trip mostly to golf and relax , we all had bedrooms with King Size beds and lots of privacy as well , If you have 4 people going to Cabo to golf this is the perfect place to stay and the location is right in the middle of everything and restaurants all around us. Clint who owns the place was great to work with as he has owned this Penthouse for many years and he really takes care of the place and its super well maintained , we can't wait to go back again ( but golf is a little pricey in Cabo so we have to go back to work for a while . LoL"

  • Villa Vista Pacifica in Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas

"We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family at Villa Vista Pacifica in December of 2013. The house exceeded our expectations. The property owner's executive assistant Jennifer, helped us from booking through end of our stay. Very professional and helpful. Staff was very accommodating even though it was holiday season. Chef Martin Castillo prepared an authentic Mexican buffet on Christmas Eve which our whole family enjoyed immensely. We would recommend this property for any family holiday."

  • Absolutely Fabulous!

"This is our second time back to Casa Del Mar and we will continue to come back and stay here, It is beautiful! You walk right out the sliding door and your right at the beach just a few steps along the garden path and your on the sand. The Condo is beautiful, clean and quiet! It is the ultimate get-away if you want privacy, beautiful gardens, pristine pool hot tub and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets that you have ever seen and not to mention right on the beach. If we wanted to go into town we just walked up to the road and the bus stops for you and its about a 15 minute ride! Once again we had a fabulous time staying here and we will be coming back again and again! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you!"

Cabo San Lucas Travel Tips

Cabo San Lucas Vacation Rentals are Easy to get to and Easy to Love!

Cabo San Lucas resorts are quickly becoming the destinations of choice for vacationers. Cabo San Lucas is close to Highways 1 and 19, and within an easy drive of the border with the U.S. state of California. For those further away, the area is also easily accessed via Cabo San Lucas International Airport.

Some of the main reasons for its increasing popularity is the year-round warm weather, wonderful scenery and excellent, uncrowded beaches. From its humble beginning as a small fishing community in the 1800s, the area still attracts visitors for its fishing as well as much more.

From Whale-Watching to Parasailing, it is all on Your Doorstep

The marina of Cabo San Lucas sits on the Sea of Cortez, otherwise known as the Gulf of California. It is well known for its laid-back atmosphere. From here, anglers may choose to take the opportunity to try some of the local sports such as fishing for marlin. There are a variety of water-based activities to undertake, from a not-to-be-missed tour of Cabo Bay to a boat trip to explore the wonderful beaches. Join one of the sailing excursions around the waters here and keep your eye open for the whales that are often seen in the sea. Here visitors can go parasailing, learn to dive, swim with the dolphins and even take a snorkeling or glass-bottom boat tour.

Many visitors here will want to take advantage of the wide variety of activities on offer. For thrill seekers, there are tours of the sand dunes and riverbanks. There are many different tours, some on ATVs or horseback; each tour is unique and covers a variety of areas. Do some off-road driving through the stunning deserts in the area. Or perhaps a horseback tour of the same area would be equally enjoyable. For a more relaxing tour, try a carriage ride through the area to explore the different landscapes within easy reach of Cabos San Lucas or take day trips out to the small towns scattered along the coast like San Jose del Cabo and La Paz. Another trip that hikers will enjoy is to walk out to the beach to watch the incredible sunset.

Unique Shopping and Unique Food

For a wonderful variety of "made in Mexico" gifts and souvenirs, visitors to Cabo San Lucas vacation rentals will find a great selection of shops here. To explore the shops, visitors will find many close to the beach and also in the downtown area of Lazaro Cardenas and Boulevard Marina. Among the items made locally are leather goods, pottery, silver, blown glass, masks and unique pieces by local, internationally renowned artists.

Cabo San Lucas travel really must include sampling some real Mexican food and visitors here will find a huge variety of locally run restaurants offering authentic local dishes. Naturally, seafood is a fundamental on most menus and visitors will find a wonderful array of it available. There are also many international restaurants. Visitors here will find dining out a real treat.

Beautiful Homes in a Beautiful Area

Scattered around Cabo San Lucas resorts are beautiful vacation homes providing a warm welcome and much more than all the comforts of home - check out Pedregal and Villa La Estancia vacation rentals. These spacious properties come with all modern conveniences and many luxuries that are not found outside very high-end hotels. Many of these homes include luxuries such as private hot tubs, large-screen televisions, DVD players, and more. Being homes instead of rooms, parents can unwind and relax on the deck while keeping an eye on the children as they make the most of the last rays of sun. Couples can enjoy a great day of activities and come "home" to a secluded hideaway for an evening of romantic solitude. There are homes for everyone; some include a warm welcome for the dog too.
