  • 2nd Trip the the East Cape and Casa Blanca

"We are always just unbelievably sad when our stay comes to an end. Casa Blanca, it's staff and the homeowners are surely a pleasure. 2 families of 4 returned for another totally relaxing vacation. It took us about a minute after our first trip to Casa Blanca, to contact Steve to book our stay a year in advance. We just counted down the months, until it was just days away before we would be back. Casa Blanca does more than just give you a place to lay your head at night after spending a day out. It makes you want to stay in, on the property, on the beach and realize what total relaxation really is. From the pool, to the kayaking, snorkeling with schools of fish and beach play - it just doesn't get much better. Without a doubt your stay here will never be forgotten. Memories will be made. OK now for more specifics: The layout of CB is really rad. A real draw (for us) are the suites, (king beds (super comfy), bathrooms and lounge areas with sliding doors to your balcony with table and chairs). They are great for privacy, yet close enough that you don't feel you are missing anything. The main living space is spacious and has a loft with 3 twin beds and bath, for added guests. We cooked in mostly. Kitchen is great - loads of dishes, cookware, seasonings and some cold condiments in the fridge. Bottled water is provided and the ice machine in fridge is filtered too, so you can use the ice maker, which is great. We gave the BBQ a good workout this year. They do have a tv and dvd/vhs player along with some movies in the main living space, which we have yet to turn on and also wifi. The pool is great fun and some toys are provided for it. Poli and Olivia keep the house and grounds clean. Sunrise (while I could not get myself up to watch this year) is a must. The beach is really great, and swimmable (playable). Great for hunting sea shells. The 2 kayaks are in excellent shape and a must. Don't be surprised if you see dolphins with your morning coffee, while in a rocking chair on the deck, as the sunshine warms the morning air. Truly perfect. The Toady Road to the house (quickest route from Los Cabos) is an adventure, while you have to carefully navigate the road, the views are totally worth it. We had a VW Jetta and did just fine. Lots of fun places to eat in town. Still the best place I've ever seen stars. This time shooting stars! Until next time.... With Gratitude, Maggie and Family"

  • Can't wait to go back for another stay!

"My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time at Casita Pepita, and we highly recommend it. The location was great, right at the beach and far enough from town to be very quiet, yet close enough to easily go in for groceries or dinner or anything else you might need. Mike and Mir were fantastic hosts. They told us the local spots and were very friendly. We appreciated the way everything worked well and was so aesthetically pleasing. All the details were very nice, much nicer than any other vacation rentals. You could tell this was more than a business . . . it was designed for family and friends."

  • April 2015 in La Paz

"Our family (seven people including two 20-something couples and a 16-year-old boy) spent four days at Leo and Romy's place. We could not have been more pleased with the location and the lodging quarters. Leo and Romy are gracious and kind hosts. The place really is an "oasis" in the middle of La Paz. Easy walking distance to the malecon (10 mins) made meals and sunset viewing very easy. The kids loved the beautiful pool and outdoor common area. Leo kindly arranged a day on the water that included sea lions, whale sharks, dolphins and beaches. This was our second trip to La Paz and we could not have enjoyed the trip more thanks, in large part, to Leo and Romy."
