  • Perfect Place in Paradise

"I recently had the opportunity to stay in Villa Sonrisa for a Girls Getaway in Cabo. We found this home to be perfect in every way. The home is very spacious providing each of us privacy and our own rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. This homes does have a rooftop that is perfect for evening dinner and we even did group massages on the top. IT WAS FABULOUS!!!!!! House has AMAZING views and the amenities are endless. The staff is always available and getting transportation was quick and easy. The taxi ride to downtown was approximately 5 minutes. We will be renting Villa Sonrisa again."

  • Great Location

"We just got back from our first trip to Cabo - wanted to explore the area and have a nice home base, and this condo fit the bill! Terrace and views are fantastic, especially for this price point, and the location was perfect for heading off in any direction. Bob was on top of the management and made everything easy. We liked the residential feel of the area, and being in between Sunset/Monuments beach and the secret playa made for some nice morning walks & sunsets."

  • Fantastic with older kids

"The combo of spring break in Cabo and staying at this top floor villa was perfect. We have been to other areas of Mexico with our children (14, 13 and 10), and by far, Cabo felt the safest and most welcoming. Two large bedrooms were fantastic for kids. Our youngest opted to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room. The balcony is the most amazing part of this unit. The view is gorgeous (it is the main photo for this listing). There are two lounge chairs that were the most coveted seats for our family. The breezes that you get up there, particularly later in the afternoon and evening, were wonderful. Every time that we were in the condo (breakfast, showering, happy hour), we were all out on the balcony that extends from the master, to the living, to the guest room. It runs the full length of the condo. We spent some time on the balcony watching our kids in the pool. You couldn't do that with younger ones, but ours were fine. We had friends stay the Palmar and thought the properties were very, very different. The Palmar had tons of little kids, looked super crowded around the pool, and everything was super wet. Estancia's pool area is beautifully landscaped, and chairs are set up in different areas, which ends up offering much more privacy and a luxury feel to the property. Our friends from Palmar came into our property several times, but NOTE they cannot bring in their towels from the other properties. That is a huge red flag and the pool manager will tell them they need to go up and register as a guest on your account. It took about 5 minutes to do this, no big deal. We bought breakfast food from Walmart (simple, easy trip), usually ate lunch at the pool and then went into Cabo for dinners. The beach is considered "non-swimming" but we swam. My impression is that basically from Estancia to the east, the waves/undertow were too dangerous to swim. However, from Estancia to the west (to Lands End), it was safer and super fun. For the first 3 days we were there, the waves were huge (some about 10'). My kids and I went out into the swimming area with other avid beachgoers and had a ball. You just had to pay attention to where you were in relation to where the waves were breaking. The beach is steep, and within a handful of steps into the water, you are over your head. For our entire week stay, the "red" do-not-swim flag was posted at Estancia. However, no-one stops you."

  • Good Location and Great Customer Service

"First, I left my laptop at the house. The owner arranged for it to be shipped the very next day. BIG points for that! The location of the house was walking distance to the main strip. We walked into town each night, and usually took a taxi home. The house was CLEAN which is always an issue on VRBO. The property manager came and checked up on us just to make sure everything was fine."
