  • Exceeded Expectations!!

"We've just returned home and we are still dreaming about our brief, 5 day (first time) trip to Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. We were there to celebrate my father's 70th birthday and in attendance included our parents, immediate children, along with 2 grandchildren. In all 9 guests. The Villa and staff more than exceeded our expectations and the pictures do not do the villa justice. The villa has gorgeous near unobstructed views of the Pacific (reminiscent of Santorini with building perched upon rocky cliffs). You'll enjoy sunrises AND sunsets. The villa is in great and clean condition for even the most discriminating customer. Ernesto (GM), Alejandro (chef), Derek, and their team (all fluent in English) were immediately available to fulfill your custom needs from amenities, activities, dining preferences, etc. They were easy to be in touch with (email, text message, call). They were the kindest people, couldn't be happier to serve their clients and would challenge even the best hotel staff. A few personal examples: our daughter was celebrating her 5th birthday and they had a personalized birthday cake along with balloons delivered. We had a variety of meals cooked for us, and upon preference, of Mexican origin however we enjoyed ceviche and sashimi one evening and steak on another. All the food cooked was restaurant quality. You simply have to advise what kind of meal you'd like and its prepared on premises to order. Once again - we would recommend the villa in a heartbeat."

  • Beautiful Hotel! Top notch service, accommodations and food!

"This is a "hotel". I was expecting an individually owned and furnished rental, as all my other VRBO experiences have been. Upon check in, we were told that this unit was not available for the entire length of our stay and they would put us in one room, and move us later on. I was upset-- I didn't know what we were going to get. I did not realize yet that this is a hotel and not individual units. They made it right and placed us in the penthouse for the entire stay, so we didn't need to move. The penthouse was amazing, as is this property. Very clean and attended to. Excellent food at all the restaurants and pool side. I give Playa Grande 5 stars. The lack of communication where I did not really know how this rental works makes me give the 4 stars."

  • Beautiful and luxurious villa, perfect for our trip!

"We recently stayed at Villa Sebastian and loved it! As many have stated, the pictures don’t lie, this place is gorgeous. The pool/hot tub/grill area is perfect for sunny days and warm nights, and the kitchen has all high-quality cookware and appliances. The bedrooms are nicely outfitted and all three have access to a balcony. Air conditioning worked wonderfully, so it was pleasant for sleeping. While the villa is located at one of the higher points of Pedregal, it offers stunning views in any direction and the homes seemed a bit more spread out so no noisy neighbors to deal with. Ishmael, the property manager, was very helpful and came by to show us how to operate the spa and other important features. We also arranged for Cabo Chef Services to cook dinner the first night, and I would tell everyone to do the same. They will also do your grocery shopping for you, which you should take advantage of as there aren’t any big stores nearby. Overall we loved our experience — it was much more peaceful than staying at a resort on Medano Beach. We felt like we were living in luxury for the week. Carolina was a dream to work with, as she replies to inquiries quickly and the payment method is professional and reassuring. While I give this rental my highest possible recommendation, I do want to note a couple caveats: - I will reiterate what everyone else has said -- the walk up and down the hill can be quite grueling. I am an avid runner and found myself out of breath walking up! It is a nice bit of exercise though, especially after eating such good food, plus you get some amazing views of the beach or downtown. I would say you most definitely cannot walk up or down at nighttime, as it is poorly lit and sometimes the sidewalks can be tricky (especially since many have a significant drop-off). Cabs up cost us usually $20. - The Wifi in the house is pretty spotty. It really only seemed to work in the kitchen/dining/living area, and not very much by the pool or in the bedroom. - The daily cleaning service is fantastic and they are very thorough, but they ARE there for approximately three hours, so every day from about 9am-12pm, we felt like we had to stay out of the way. Just a heads up! Those small matters aside, I would definitely recommend this rental for any group of people looking for a private, relaxing vacation in Cabo. I spent weeks scouting out all the Pedregal rentals and am so pleased I ended up choosing this one."

  • Stay at Casa Rincon

"We had such a great time! We had a large group (7 of us) so we rented both the upstairs and downstairs. The kids stayed in the upstairs and really enjoyed having their own space there. Everything about the house was great! It looked just like all of the pictures. All of the amenities were exactly as described. It was nice to have all of the recommendations of things to do waiting for us when we got there. Lyn's book of recommendations were so helpful! We enjoyed having the pool there, we loved coming home in the evenings and relaxing by the pool and swimming. The kids walked down to the private beach and said it was a really nice area to just lay out or swim. It was great to cook right there and enjoy dinner by the pool. This is definitely the route to go. We were able to do so much and feel so comfortable without the hassle of a hotel."
