  • Superb villa with a fantastic view!

"We had a fantastic week at the villas. Both our concierge, Edgardo, and our housekeeper Iris were helpful and friendly and took care of all of our needs. The views from our villa were amazing and the house was wonderful. We spent much of the week swimming/wading poolside while taking in views of the Pacific ocean. We made our own food for much of the week after a stop at Costco and Walmart, and the kitchen and barbeque worked well for our needs (there were seven of us in all). As for the other Pueblo Bonita amenities, access to the beach at the Rose and Blanco resorts was nice for a change of pace. We went to the Sunset Beach resort pool, with a swim up bar, which was nice, but we ultimately preferred hanging out at our own pool at the villa. The ladies all seemed happy with their massages and facials from the resorts spa and I was happy with the state of the gyms (standard setup and kept very clean). I would definitely recommend this for families and groups. It would also be nice for couples, but I would guess that two or three people would leave a lot of unused space. As for the owners of this listing, Carol was very helpful, friendly and responsive and I would be happy to rent from her again. Best, Nick"

  • February 2015 Stay

"My first contact with Chuck was in December 2014 to see if his condo was available for a trip in February 2015 and Chuck responded back very quickly and was very responsive to my questions. Once I decided to book the condo, Chuck gave me a confirmation number that was used to check in. If you have booked other properties through VRBO you usually have to sign a contract but the process that Chuck uses does not require you to sign documents and we had no issues. - Check in at the resort was very easy. I gave the front desk my confirmation number and they checked us in and showed us to our room. The resort is cashless so they will require you to put a "hold" on a credit card when you arrive and then you can true up your bill when you leave. - The resort complex is vey nice and the staff is friendly and very attentive. The work out room has all of the items you need to get in a nice workout. The grocery store has the staples you need in case you run out of something. You can dine at any of the establishments on the 3 properties. The pizza, tacos and sports bar are very good. - The condo was nice and it had all of the items required to have a nice stay. The beds were very comfortable and the master bathroom was very nice. The condo is well stocked with cooking utensils as well. - Wireless internet is available around the resort area but it is not available in the room. The condo does have a port to plug in your laptop (bring along a cord) or if you travel with a small wireless router you can plug that in and create a wireless connection. - We did not rent a car but used Esteban at Trans Pacifico and that worked out really nice to get from/to the airport. If you want to take a taxi to downtown or to Wal-Mart to get groceries it is $10.00. Wal-Mart is about 1.5 - 2 miles away and we walked there to get groceries and then took a cab back. Cabs are waiting at Wal-Mart so no concerns about getting back to the resort. - The only negative I would have (and this is not Chuck's issue) is that you will get asked about 100 times per day if you would like to buy silver, plates, hats....while lounging in the chairs by the ocean. If you stay up by the pool you will not have an issue because the sellers are not allowed on the property. When you go into town you will also get asked to buy the above items as well as timeshares. Overall this condo is great and Chuck was wonderful to work with. Thanks Chuck!"

  • Can't Wait to Return

"After 4 years, staying in Jana's villa is like going home to us - but this year was even better! What a surprise to see the wonderful new furnishings when we arrived. This year we extended our stay and as a result needed to move for our last 2 days to another villa, which Jana set us up with. With her help and that of the concierge, we were moved into the new (identical) villa without even blinking. They offered to have housekeeping do our packing and the bell service to move our belongings; all of which was completed by 11am while we were sitting by the pool. We can't wait to return."

  • Terrific View

"We stayed in this wonderful condo in March 2015. The views of the city and Sea of Cortez are terrific and condo offers ample space. The beds are comfortable, couch was newer and great, and the kitchen table is in good shape. The best part of condo was the balcony with the views. The granite in the kitchen is nice. There is an opportunity to improve the kitchen with some updates on coffee maker and some nonglass dishware. The tile floors throughout were nice and in great shape. We liked the location because of the views it offers being up in the hills and access to the incredible neighborhood. The huge homes are great to drive around to see and you can play tennis($15/hour) and best of all you get access to the private neighborhood Pedegral beach. You can also get to the Marina very easily from the condo location. The pool and the grounds for the condo are well kept. The garage for our car was adequate as well. You are in the hills so you will do a bit of walking up and down stairs, but there is an elevator. Donna was great to work with on logistics and recommendations.. We had one issue with a power outage in the condo and Donna was very considerate. We rented a car which was fine for most part but Cabo is confusing to drive in with poor signs and GPS doesn't work well. But if you want to have the freedom to go to the beaches and Walmart etc then renting car is the way to go. But it is expensive in Mexico with the insurance and taxes. I would recommend going to the marina to negotiate a whale watching and Lovers beach visit and you can rent jet skis from Marina. There is no need to reserve these online as you will pay five times more. You can drive to the beaches to snorkel at Santa Maria and Chilleno but the signs from the road for Chilleno are not up so try your GPS. We also really enjoyed the fine dining both in town and also around the Marina. We will definitely come back to Cabo and recommend this condo for the price and location and what it offers."
