  • Home away from home

"I am sitting here on the balcony on our last day in Cabo watching the sunrise over the bay writing this review as usual it is spectacular. There isn't anywhere else in Cabo that has a view of the city like Dons condo unless you stay in one of the multi million dollar homes around here. The view at night over the town is very beautiful just sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine at night is special. The condo has everything that you need from a very comfortable bed to all the kitchen utensil ice making fridge chilled water modern gas range if you want to cook in, and if you don't it is just a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants in town also the Vonage phone with free calls back to Canada kept us in touch with our family was a big plus. We have been here for a month and had a great time went into town every day but it was always nice to have a real nice place to come home to and Dons condo was it.Sad to leave but we will be back."

  • Personal Touches!

"This condo is one of 5 that I have rented at Marina Sol and I hope to stay here again! Being on the ground floor, with a terrace facing the pool was ideal. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The fridge was stocked with beer and bottled water when we arrived which was such a thoughtful gesture! Plenty of closet space (three girls and still plenty of room for clothes) and all the utensils/towels/accessories we needed. Obviously, Marina Sol's location and pool are the stars of the show, but the staff cannot be overlooked. The property managers and concierge really took time to make sure I was settled in and even kept watch for my friends for me. The staff at the pool were always pleasant and never pushy, which is nice after being hounded to buy drinks at the beach. The property manager gave us a welcome packet with drink tickets and helpful information. Little details really make such a huge impact and they were absolutely appreciated. It was originally only supposed to be me and a friend, but when another friend joined in, Susan was totally accommodating and she was right, that couch was a great bed."

  • Birthday Bash Week!

"I am now a fourth time return guest to Estancia Villa, and as always, it was an amazing week. The region had just recovered from a horrendous hurricane. My stay there was unhampered by the recent weather. Upon my arrival I had no trouble navigating through the airport and all important services were operational. Car services were conveniently there for pick up for me and my guests in routine fashion. The vistas and landscape were as beautiful as ever. The property at Villa Estancia was as impeccable as usual, and the resort had suffered no discernible damage. The decor in the villa is wonderful and inviting. The patio has magnificent views of the ocean, and is a real winning feature for private parties. My guests and I enjoyed wonderful fine dining with a private chef that was set up by the property manager, who was very willing to customize my stay for any service, private party or excursion. She made all my dinner reservations. She also organized private car services for day trips and airport transfers. There is also housekeeper also takes care of the property and she also does an excellent job for the guests as well. She prepared dinner for me and my guest upon our arrival. She was happy to prepare breakfast meals as well. They shopped and kept the refrigerator stocked for me. I enjoyed a fabulous week at Villa Estancia. We had private salsa lessons, and dance party in the villa. The property manager set up a sunset dinner on the beach and a Brazilian band to play at my party. We did a horseback ride on the beach. I also took a private sail trip around the peninsula. My guests and I always have so much fun when we go there. Estancia is a first rate resort, the staff is great and they do such an excellent job. I guess that's why I keep returning...."

  • Great spot

"I would love to give this place zero stars- but only so I didn’t have competition when I was booking again. This place is great. On the sand/beach/throw a rock hit the ocean. It’s not a “swimming beach” unless you are a strong swimmer. On our visit the waves were surfable and people were both surfing and skimboarding. I would say the actual condo is better than the pictures. Had everything we needed. Stopped by the walmart on the way in- mostly for drinks and snacks but kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, plates etc etc. We walked into town everyday, only 10 minutes and always felt safe. The complex has more of a residential feel than resort- for sure. It is very, very quiet, that is what we wanted. We also went next door to Salomar and used their pool and purchased a couple $15 drinks. Sign said guests only, but they didn’t give us a problem. I think if you don’t like this place, likely you are not a huge fan of mexico or you were looking for a party on the beach. This is a relaxing stay and was just about perfect for us."

Cabo San Lucas Travel Tips

Cabo San Lucas Vacation Rentals are Easy to get to and Easy to Love!

Cabo San Lucas resorts are quickly becoming the destinations of choice for vacationers. Cabo San Lucas is close to Highways 1 and 19, and within an easy drive of the border with the U.S. state of California. For those further away, the area is also easily accessed via Cabo San Lucas International Airport.

Some of the main reasons for its increasing popularity is the year-round warm weather, wonderful scenery and excellent, uncrowded beaches. From its humble beginning as a small fishing community in the 1800s, the area still attracts visitors for its fishing as well as much more.

From Whale-Watching to Parasailing, it is all on Your Doorstep

The marina of Cabo San Lucas sits on the Sea of Cortez, otherwise known as the Gulf of California. It is well known for its laid-back atmosphere. From here, anglers may choose to take the opportunity to try some of the local sports such as fishing for marlin. There are a variety of water-based activities to undertake, from a not-to-be-missed tour of Cabo Bay to a boat trip to explore the wonderful beaches. Join one of the sailing excursions around the waters here and keep your eye open for the whales that are often seen in the sea. Here visitors can go parasailing, learn to dive, swim with the dolphins and even take a snorkeling or glass-bottom boat tour.

Many visitors here will want to take advantage of the wide variety of activities on offer. For thrill seekers, there are tours of the sand dunes and riverbanks. There are many different tours, some on ATVs or horseback; each tour is unique and covers a variety of areas. Do some off-road driving through the stunning deserts in the area. Or perhaps a horseback tour of the same area would be equally enjoyable. For a more relaxing tour, try a carriage ride through the area to explore the different landscapes within easy reach of Cabos San Lucas or take day trips out to the small towns scattered along the coast like San Jose del Cabo and La Paz. Another trip that hikers will enjoy is to walk out to the beach to watch the incredible sunset.

Unique Shopping and Unique Food

For a wonderful variety of "made in Mexico" gifts and souvenirs, visitors to Cabo San Lucas vacation rentals will find a great selection of shops here. To explore the shops, visitors will find many close to the beach and also in the downtown area of Lazaro Cardenas and Boulevard Marina. Among the items made locally are leather goods, pottery, silver, blown glass, masks and unique pieces by local, internationally renowned artists.

Cabo San Lucas travel really must include sampling some real Mexican food and visitors here will find a huge variety of locally run restaurants offering authentic local dishes. Naturally, seafood is a fundamental on most menus and visitors will find a wonderful array of it available. There are also many international restaurants. Visitors here will find dining out a real treat.

Beautiful Homes in a Beautiful Area

Scattered around Cabo San Lucas resorts are beautiful vacation homes providing a warm welcome and much more than all the comforts of home - check out Pedregal and Villa La Estancia vacation rentals. These spacious properties come with all modern conveniences and many luxuries that are not found outside very high-end hotels. Many of these homes include luxuries such as private hot tubs, large-screen televisions, DVD players, and more. Being homes instead of rooms, parents can unwind and relax on the deck while keeping an eye on the children as they make the most of the last rays of sun. Couples can enjoy a great day of activities and come "home" to a secluded hideaway for an evening of romantic solitude. There are homes for everyone; some include a warm welcome for the dog too.
