  • Add This to Your Bucket List!

"There was 4 in my party who enjoyed the very clean and comfortable home of Tom and Rosemary. Tom was so accommodating, warm and helpful - picked us up from the airport, stopped at a grocery to pick up what we needed, and offered daily trips into town. But my brother-in-law drove us each day - easy to get around, and only a short drive into great shopping area. Most shop owners spoke enough English and offered sales in American dollars. The local food was over the top at about every place we ate - including the Italian place, Romeo and Julietta! Don't miss the little bar, Two for the Road! We went deep sea fishing and caught a striped marlin. The view from the condo was spectacular, and the private pool a real treat! Weather was perfect! Beaches were a short drive away - but worth it! Very affordable and super value!!!"

  • Amazing home and experience - Whales, beach, great food, family time

"We just finished spending a week at Cocina Pacifica to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. We went with our extended family from ages 80 -11. Everyone had a wonderful time. Our top reasons why we loved Cocina Pacifica: 1) The View and Whales - we have been to Kaikoura, New Zealand and the the coasts off of Boston to see whales. At Cocina, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and sit out on your own front porch and view both California Grays and Humpbacks. Whale watching became a favorite pastime for both young and old. 2) The location - we are actually a family that would not have liked to stay in congested Cabo. Finding a place close enough to drive into Cabo if we wanted to but was tucked away on our own beach was ideal. The house has a pool and hot tub, plenty of space in the front to exercise if you want (our kids played street soccer) and the beach right down a flight of stairs was perfect for sunbathing and throwing the football around. The surf at this beach can be a little bit too rough for swimming unless you are really strong. The house is also fairly close to Todos Santos (25 min. drive), a more authentic place to visit than Cabo, if you are looking for some culture. 3) Cerritos Beach - just 10 minutes from the house, is the best surfing and boogie boarding beach we have been on in a long time. Everyone boogie boarded and surfed including my father who is 80 and has never boogie boarded in his life. The water is a great temperature and the waves just keep coming. There are also vendors (not too many to annoy you) who will rent you beach umbrellas and surf boards. The house has boogie boards and beach chairs. There are really cheap, delicious, and safe tacos stands at the entrance to this beach off HWY 19. 4) Family time - the house is solar run and we loved the owner's environmentally conscious way of operating the home. Our children (ages 11- 21) became more thoughtful about how we use energy and how often they feel the "need" to connect on the internet. It allowed everyone, including our social media active teens, to take a break from being connected constantly. (House has fine internet connection but not all 17 people can be active on it at the same time) 5) Under the Stars - the stars at night are crystal clear and you can even make out some planets. The house has wonderful hammocks to enjoy the view at night. 6) The great pantry - we all gained about 5 pounds this past week 7) Owners - Jim and Susan, really helpful and generous!"

  • Cabo Retreat

"We recently rented Casa Del Alba Bonita for a week. We were very pleased with the facilities, owner and location. We did not want a resort atmosphere but close enough that we could easily access everything. This was perfect. Dawn was extremely helpful prior to thr trip, answering questions and providing the necessary information. Directions to the house were spot on. The house was just like the pictures and description stated. Very clean and comfortable. The complex was very quiet and those we did see, were very friendly. We did have some water issues - one within the complex and one with the unit - but Dawn was very quick to resolve and all was good. If you stay, you can use taxis to get around but we rented a car and it was perfect. The complex is gaited and the guards are extremely helpful and friendly. They always greeted us with a smile and a hello. Only suggestions that we have is to possibly provide some beach items - throw toys, folding chair, cooler. We bought a cheap stirofoam cooler to haul back and forth to the beach. Having beach towels at the house was a HUGE plus... THANK YOU! It would have been nice to know if someone was coming in after us so we could have left condiments, food, beer, etc for them to use. I realize this is not always possible. The folks before us did leave things but the cleaning lady took it all before we got there. Overall - great place! Would go back in a heartbeat. THANK YOU"
