  • AWESOME!!!!

"Just returned from a 2 night stay in the villa and can not wait to get back! If you've never been to La Paz I highly recommend it. It is a very laid back place and a nice break from the craziness of Cabo. The villa was perfect and right on the beach. It is near the amazing beaches of Tecolote and Balandra. these beaches are as nice as any in the Caribbean. The beach club you have access to at the resort is beautiful and the staff take great care of you. I am hoping to get back in the spring!!! thanks for sharing your wonderful home!"

  • Wonderful home!

"My wife and I and two other couples stayed in Stacy's lovely 3-bedroom home for a week. While we had great plans to do things every day and into the evenings, we found ourselves more often enjoying leisurely breakfasts that we cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, heading out around noon, and then sitting in the comfortable living room after enjoying a dinner on or near the Malecon. The weekend we arrived was the pre-Lent carnival time, so we went to the parade at night, watched live entertainment on the large stage on the Malecon and ate at one of the many food booths. Simon, the property manager, was a wonderful resource, especially after my wife sprained her ankle badly on the second day and to be taken to the hospital where she was given great care at rock bottom prices. The doctor even loaned her the use of crutches for free. Two of our members continued their Zumba classes about two blocks away and you can buy almost anything at the Mega store about 6 blocks away. The HSBC ATM upstairs at Mega gave better exchange rates/lower fees than the BanComer ATM a couple of blocks away and there is a large TelCel office there for adding minutes to the house cell phone. If you stay there November - March, try swimming with the whale sharks; it was a fantastic experience!"

  • Paraiso del Mar

"The owner Chelle and her property managers Jon and Penny are all a class act. They are very responsive to your needs and have great suggestions where to eat, etc. They lent us a local cell phone for the week which was really convenient. Please is very clean and comfortable. Food at the resort is an informal thing but probably the best food we had in La Paz. Getting to and from La Paz is via walk-on ferry that holds 30 so a little cumbersome but it's nice at night because you're on the peninsula and have the place to yourself. We parked our rental car at the marina in town so it was available any time. La Paz is a wonderful town, lots of things to do and no horde of time share salesmen and street vendors bugging you at every turn. Felt safe the whole time we were there. The beaches outside the condo are beautiful and uncrowded. Water is great for swimming and shell gathering. Definitely coming back! Thanks Chelle & crew!"

"This condo is simply beautiful. My husbandand I have been to La Paz twice before but no pave comes closer to this place. Manuel (owner) meet us at Applebees to show us the way. He gave us an upgrade to this 2 bedroom and it was heaven. Very convenient for beaches, Malecón, and el centro. Perfect fora family with kids of any age. Great pool and spa, practically private. We will be back soon and will definitely stay in one of Manuel ' s condos."

Best Time to Visit La Paz Resorts

La Paz is located in the province of Baja California Sur, Mexico. It enjoys a warm year-round climate with more than 300 sunshine days per year. The summer months run from June to September, and are hot and humid. While this is a popular time of year to visit because it coincides with school vacations, it is advisable to choose a vacation home that has either ceiling fans or air conditioning. Because of the high levels of humidity, many people prefer to visit during the cooler winter months when the temperatures are milder and the air is drier. If you are planning to explore the underwater treasures, the best time of year for diving is between May and November when the waters are most clear.
