  • Excellent Condo

"Stayed at the Costa Baja Condominiums overlooking the Marina....unit 301....found it through owner's very easy to work with....we stayed 12 nights and although I've been going to La Paz for over 20 years, this was my best vacation. I don't think I can go back to Hotels after this experience as it was very relaxing and easy....everything is made to make life easy for you...there is a laundry facility with workers to wash and fold your clothes....we had a weeks worth of clothes done for about $10.....there is a small general store there for you so you don't have to go into town, which is very convenient.....also, there is a list of recommendations for restraints and activities....the beach club which is right on the beach is within a 5 minute walk.....don't get the condos confused with the hotel....the condos are owned by individual people and doesn't have anything to do with the will have a blast."

  • Paraiso del Mar

"The owner Chelle and her property managers Jon and Penny are all a class act. They are very responsive to your needs and have great suggestions where to eat, etc. They lent us a local cell phone for the week which was really convenient. Please is very clean and comfortable. Food at the resort is an informal thing but probably the best food we had in La Paz. Getting to and from La Paz is via walk-on ferry that holds 30 so a little cumbersome but it's nice at night because you're on the peninsula and have the place to yourself. We parked our rental car at the marina in town so it was available any time. La Paz is a wonderful town, lots of things to do and no horde of time share salesmen and street vendors bugging you at every turn. Felt safe the whole time we were there. The beaches outside the condo are beautiful and uncrowded. Water is great for swimming and shell gathering. Definitely coming back! Thanks Chelle & crew!"

  • A perfect La Paz experience........

"This is a beautiful, contemporary, spacious, and private property several miles south of urban La Paz. The property is serene and safe, surrounded by Sonoran desertscape. The quiet is interrupted only by the birds bathing on the edge of the infinity pool, and the sounds of the woodpeckers tapping the glass of the doors. Drinks in the evening on the patio near the pool and spa, under the large patio covering, or around the fire pit is very easy to become addicted to. The patio overlooks the Bay of La Paz and has a magical view of the lights of the city across the water, and the moon rising over the hills behind the city. The home is modern, within a rural setting of widely separated properties. Still, you are only an 8 minute drive from major grocery shopping, and about a 25 minutes to the Malecon and central La Paz. Beautiful unspoiled beaches lie another 10 minutes away. The property is professionally managed and maintained. Bev, the property manage, is a font of information and suggestions for all maters La Paz. Take her advice. She is spot on. The kitchen is fully equipped. You can even try your hand at making tortillas (we didn’t). The cable service works reliably as does the internet. You need a car. The property has 2 that can be contracted separately. I always seem to judge house rentals by the quality of the provided towels. This property passed the test. I wish I hadn’t wasted precious luggage space with my own towel. LaPaz is a jewel. If you are sick of all the Cabo tourists and the inflated Cabo prices, La Paz is for you. It's Mexico - not just So Cal with cheap beer. The people are kind, interactive, and laid back. The food is amazing! The seafood is shockingly fresh. Oh, BTW, my damage deposit was refunded in full before I woke up the morning after returning home. This property is a winner."

  • Casa Sorpresa

"We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The property manager met us as we arrived at the home and was very gracious and helpful showing us the home and explaining how everything worked on our walk around. He is also easy to contact by phone or you can just stop by his ice cream shop if you would like to speak to him in person. This was the first time in ten visits to La Pas that I had rented a home while I was there and it will not be the last. This home has all that you will need to make your stay a wonderful experience and one of many memories. This home is about 6 blocks from the Malecon but it is an easy walk and many things to see on your way. We did rent a car so having a garage was a very nice touch so that we didn't have to park on the street. We were truely empressed with how well this home is furnished, from the kitchen to the bed rooms we had all that we needed. There were 7 adults on this stay and we all had our space to get away when we just wanted some quiet time alone for a much needed nap. This homes location is very quiet as well with no noise from the street and the neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definately refer this home to all that want an alternative to staying in a motel or hotel."

There are many different kinds of water sport activities to keep you entertained at La Paz. A great excursion is to go sea kayaking along the coast. These are either snorkeling or scuba diving trips, depending on whether the guests have diving certifications. Best Time to Visit La Paz Resorts

La Paz is located in the province of Baja California Sur, Mexico. It enjoys a warm year-round climate with more than 300 sunshine days per year. The summer months run from June to September, and are hot and humid. While this is a popular time of year to visit because it coincides with school vacations, it is advisable to choose a vacation home that has either ceiling fans or air conditioning. Because of the high levels of humidity, many people prefer to visit during the cooler winter months when the temperatures are milder and the air is drier. If you are planning to explore the underwater treasures, the best time of year for diving is between May and November when the waters are most clear.
